Good retraction, fairly robust.
I had one of these for years, and it finally broke where the retract line goes into the housing; unrepairable. It works well, as shown by the repurchase to replace a broken unit.The one compliant is that on rough roads the mic will get to swinging, and a heavy Astatic mic can cause some serious bodily harm if it gets up enough velocity and bonks you on the head.

Easy to install, sturdy product
Got gear keeper to install mic into logging truck (which bumps and bangs alot) and the gear keeper helps keep my mic from falling out hand etc. Has good spring tension and pulls mic back immediately. All in all great product would reccomend

Good quality
Works just like it should. Only thing I would recommend is getting a carabiner because the hook is pretty small and hard to find a place to hook it onto.

Cheaper than a truckstop
Does exactly what it’s suppose to do and almost 10 bucks cheaper than buying the same exact one at a truck stop. Can’t go wrong
