I've had this installed for 5 months, came back to get the product link and was surprised there were not more positive reviews. I purchased this unit and 2 VE Direct cables, theyconnect the inverter and the charge controller. I get all the data I could want and I set it up to upload my data to the Victron server for analysis and storage. Works great, simple install, and I haven't even touched all the inputs and relays yet. @homeadrift

Update 8/15/2020Since it was bricked anyway, I opened the case. Saw it was a beaglebone, and hit the Venus OS GutHub site and found the img file.Loaded the latest Venus, put it on the network, and everything fired right up.Glad to have it back in service!!————I’d been running my site with Venus on a raspberryPi and thought I’d treat myself to the GX.When it works, it’s handier and more compact than the rpi setup.However, this unit has randomly stopped reporting for hours or a day at a time since I got it. No particular reason. Couldn’t get to the console on the local network.It has bricked itself every firmware update.The last firmware update finally completely bricked it. Can’t even get the WiFi AP on it to work anymore.I’m a total Victron fanboi, but this particular piece of hardware has been very disappointing.I’ll go back to the rpi, and give up on some of the extras like temp and tank sensors.
