My fiancé and I couldn’t do pre marital counseling due to our schedules, but really wanted to…decided to give this a try and we’re enjoying so far! It’s simple, makes you and your partner laugh and talk, and it’s perfect for after date nights. Always feel closer to my fiancé after we do a chapter!

This book is everything you need for premarital counselling. I have been married before and tried the religious premarital counseling and as a non-religious person felt very frustrated with the process. With this marriage we decided to take a different route. We chose to find a online facilitator in order to take the Prepare/Enrich online assessment to determine our strengths and areas of growth AND do the premarital counseling on our own. Well with this book, it has made it so easy to talk about difficult topics and cover a multitude of issues that we did not even think to discuss prior to starting.Overall, I recommend this book. It is non-religious and doesn't feel biased in anyway.

Half of the book is about discussing kids (should have discussed that way sooner!) and about parenting styles. Not for us....

We started with the introduction and then do about a chapter every couple weeks. The topics are deep and require some thought and reflection

My fiancé, and I’ve been living together for about two years, and I just wanted to prepare both of us for our up-and-coming marriage. I know there are things that we may not have actually discussed in full detail, and this book is going to allow us to do this together without judgment. So far we’ve done the first chapter and read the introduction and we’re super excited!

This book is amazing! My fiancé isn’t super into things like this, and neither am I to be honest. But we both love sitting down for 15 minutes and completing a chapter. The best part comes after we do a chapter, we will sit and talk for hours about what we found out and how we feel about that. It’s an amazing conversation starter for those hard conversations that need to be had. We have been together for 4 years and got engaged about 6 months ago. So we know each other very well. But this book goes more in-depth than the normal book and covers things we haven’t truly defined in our relationship yet.

We finished this book together tonight. We sat down for a couple nights reading. Since we started we have seen things in a new way. This book is amazing and I recommend it! So happy I found it.

Myself and my partner are getting married this year so we wanted to make some time to really understand each other more. We are only a small way into this book but we love it and we would highly recommend this to any couples who see marriage as the long term goal. It's been a great way to start conversations between me and my partner, and has also brought up things we hadn't even thought about.

My fiancé and I are completing this book chapter by chapter and its really helped us and viewing each other. It helps you set baselines and talks about lots of topics you wouldn't really talk about with out the book. Highly recommend this workbook for anyone.
