John Wick #5 CVR A Comic – January 1, 2019

Who does not love the character of John Wick after seeing the first film in this series? It inspired me to not just see the first and second movie in this series, but to also look forward to the graphic novels created after John Wick 1, and 2 came out. I am also looking forward to seeing John Wick #3 which comes out in May 2019. After purchasing the DVDs of John Wick I noticed the comic book series was also out but I thought they were a little too expensive and decided to wait until the prices went down. Unfortunately, they did not go down in price, but I decided to purchase the John Wick #5 D.E. comic book (9.34) even though I think it is still way too expensive for a small comic book.Yes, it was filled with the kind of action John Wick is known for in the movies, and the graphics were fantastic. I hope the creators of the John Wick character comes out with regular novels as well as longer graphic novels of this vicious supposedly retired colorful assassin.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. I ordered John wick 1 thru 5 thinking they were novels, these are a joke. They average about 20 pages long and they are a comic book, they are hard to read because the pages are scrambled. At $1.99 a book, they are the worst deal on the Internet! Amazon should have said they were comic books. A total ripoff!!

Loved it..

I bought all five e-comics in a package deal. Took me less than 30 minutes to read all five so that still wasn’t really much of a bargain. Artwork was ok, story was paper thin, but the dialogue was terrible. There are only so many ha has, thocks, and acks you can have in a comic before it gets boring and repetitive. Not a good reflection on the John Wick movies.
