Protec Clarinet Neck Strap, 22” Length (Model NCS2),Black,Regular

I did not need a neck strap in my younger years when I played in the band in school, as the clarinet is a relatively lightweight instrument. However, now at my age, (I play on my church praise team), I have found this very helpful, as I have begun having issues with my right arm and shoulder, since the right arm bears the weight of the instrument. This has been a real life saver, as it takes the weight off and allows me to play more comfortably without pain and my shoulder and arm giving out on me. And I love the professional grade quality and that you can adjust it. Highly recommend, especially for anyone older like me who wants to continue to play without pain.

My 8 year old just fits into the larger size neck strap. Without the strap, he was struggling to focus on learning the correct finger positions or resting the clarinet between his legs. The strap helps him hold the instrument comfortably and properly. I also like using it, as I play infrequently now and find my right thumb gets sore when I play otherwise.

Ease of use. I can easily adjust the strap to A or B flat clarinet.Comfort.This is my second strap. The first was a cheaper brand and was a pain to use. Went to trash can.

I started getting arthritis in my thumb, and was afraid I would have to stop playing clarinet because of the weight on my joint. It took very little time to get used to using the strap. I wish I could adjust it just a little shorter, but it still works.

Adjusts quickly over my large head. Holds securely. however it easily detaches at the leather thumb metal grommet allowing for a quick stow of my clarinet. Most highlight the thumb relief, but for myself it really helps my right shoulder issues. After playing larger woodwinds, it felt kinda silly to use this with a clarinet, but it definitely helps keep sessions comfortable.

The neoprene padding is a nice perk of this neck strap. After 40+ years of playing I had an injury that would not allow me to bear any weight on my right thumb. This little gem saved the day!You should practice with it a bit to find your personal "sweet spot" for optimal playing position. It is easy enough to adjust and no problem to hook or unhook. I saw some of the complaints about it slipping, but this can be helped by simply following the directions. As a teacher, I can also see where this might help younger or smaller students be more confident holding the instrument when starting out.

I've been playing the clarinet for 30+ years. A long time to balance a two pound weight on my thumb. I had gotten to the point that I couldn't play for more than 30 minutes without pain. This neckstrap fixes that. I have a Selmer Signature and, even though it doesn't have a ring to hook a neckstrap to, the leather tabs they include do let you attach the neckstrap to the clarinet and it does the job. I'd buy it again.

This is a very sturdy neckstrap. Came with two thumbrest adapters, though my thumbrest has a loop so I'm using the hook. It's very well made and I think it's going to last a long time.I've used a neck strap before and they do take a little getting used to. But this one is very worth the price.I'm 5'4 and a mature player. I purchased the 22" adult size.

Aunque el clarinete no es un instrumento muy pesado, llega a molestar soportar todo el peso sobre el pulgar derecho. Este soporte ayuda muchisimo a tocar por periodos largos. El material es resistente y suave al cuello. Me gustó muchisimo!
