HERTZDieci Series DCX-1653 6.5" Two-Way Coaxial Speakers - Pair

I read the reviews, figured id be happy, and definitely didn't disappoint! I replaced all 4 in my 04 silverado crew cab just using stock head unit still, and it sounds awesome, really! I'm not booming with bass, but sound quality is really clear, no breaking/cracking, even turning up to 100%. Very well balanced sound, and you can clearly hear that it's a well made speaker. Hopefully they hold up, but judging by the feel and sound, i think they will! I'm very happy with the purchase.

I bought these as a replacement for my 2006 Honda Civic. They sound great with the factory head unit. Crisp highs and just enough bass. I would highly recommend these for replacement speakers!

Speakers yield strong midrange sound, as others have said. My review is that they are indeed quite loud and clear speakers -- which is just what a bike or boat needs. If installing in a car that already has a decent system, though, then these will take over everything and it's difficult to 'blend' them in. That said, this is a $65 speaker so if you don't want to spend too much...it's a very decent option. They did provide improvement but takes a huge amount of tweaking using equalizer. I wonder is other Hertz 6.5 models would provide a more 'suave' sound.
