Timeless fragrance
I have been wearing Tabac over 40 years and very glad someone still makes it. Hard to describe the scent, although it supposedly has some tobacco in it, or is that just an "old wive's tale" ? It is a fresh scent similar to "Sir" by 1711 and not as sweet smelling as "Habit Rouge" by Guerlain. Women love it. It isn't strong and doesn't weigh heavy in the air to the point of reeking. Nice stuff.

For this price I doubt if it gets better than this
Completely heavenly fragrance..For this price I doubt if it gets better than this. I bought this from Amazon, was disappointed that it arrive with the spray missing :(...The fragrance itself is beyond words..I am trying to get it in a bigger size. Again, a blind buy for this price. Thanks to basenotes.com for all their suggestions, they are mighty right about Tabac!!

A classic scent
A classic earthy-type scent. The only reason for four stars is because the scent doesn't last for more than a few hours.

Glad I could get this
Tabac is a men's cologne my husband has liked for several years. It is frustrating for him to like a scent and then after several years, it is no longer available. Tabac has been around for several years and I am so glad I found it available on Amazon.

Glad I finally found this
I bought my original bottle in Paris back in 2004. Been looking for it ever since here in the States Just checked Amazon on a lark, and there it was. Not everyone’s taste in a scent, but it suits me.

for me but not her
Well, it gets great reviews, I am afterall from Germany so thought "why not try it?" I think it is distinctive, fresh and clean. My wife on the other hand won't cuddle when I wear it. Any one want a free almost full bottle? I still like it but what's the point, I'll keep the wife, she's otherwise pretty darn wonderful.

NEVER AGAIN!!!
I purchase this product and WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT, smell like baby powder with a punch.I used this cologne back in 1984 while working in Germany and I loved the scent, now that I found it...OMG isnot even close of that original TABAC I used to know.Sorry....just money down to the drain.
