Being a male of the species certain things come with the territory. Hairy parts that shouldn't be hairy, dress sense circa 1980 and a total inability to dance.And of course at the end of the day we smell like a dead ferret that has been dragged from a pond after a couple of weeks. I often wonder what women see in us - at least my dear wife.So, given the above it is beholden upon us to make a bit of an effort now and again and de-furr and de-smell things.De-furring is a simple process thanks to BIC. Or Gillette if you are woke.Smelling nice is down to the efforts of industrial aftershave conglomerates and entirely at the mercy of one's better half. Lets be honest here, most of us blokes can shove on any old pong and it's as good as any other. This is a case in point.I normally use Channel aftershave because I have been suckered by the advertising campaigns which, promise to turn me into some sort of sophisticated, chisel jawed Hollywood star. What it really means is that that I actually still look like a world weary, ancient mariner (well marine engineer) just with a lighter wallet and a wife who is happy to stand a bit nearer to me. And I'm perfectly happy with any smellies that come in a nice bottle with a name brand. Once on after a few minutes a normal human being can't detect the smell anyway.This is well known science by the way. It's one of the reasons why people die in enclosed spaces or around hydrocarbons. After a short period of time the olfactory senses filter out the background smell. In other words if you can still smell what you have put on after ten minutes, chances are you have put so much aftershave on you risk causing a fire or having people around you end up with watering eyes.So basically it matters not one jot what you put on yourself because you cannot detect it after a while.Instead, ask your better half. After all, she has to deal with the aftereffects of what you are splashing all over....And my wife likes this. And thus a degree of harmony is restored to our life at the end of a day when I shower, shave and present myself for inspection if we are going out.It is a woody kind of smell which I assume means it's more geared towards men than the more floral ladies stuff. Personally I have no issue with Eau de Engine Oil but, my wife does.Overall a very pleasant fragrance that the special one in your life - or your wife - will like.

I have been chasing my husband round smelling him!! Even after being at work all day, he comes home changes his shirt and I am sniffing the old one like a crazy lady as it smells delicious. Its a lovely clean and fresh light smell, not overpowering but enticing.

Nice smell and very well presented so this makes a great gift as well.

Altogether an ok scent at an ok price, it just isn't really my thing. All a bit 'musky' for me.It does last a fair amount of time, which is a major plus for me, as I've had plenty of scents that dissipate within an hour.It may be your sort of thing, but you'd really need to test it first, as it isn't the easiest thing to describe.

This has gorgeous strong woody smell but really fresh and lingers around for long time...Got this to try for other half as I use cerruti for women..Men’s is just as good!Good scent!

This fragrance is described well, there are definitely notes of Jasmine, wood and leather. Certainly a masculine fragrance. It is not too strong which I personally like but others I know prefer a bigger hit from their aftershave or fragrance. This is perfect for me for every day. The bottle and box are attractive and would make a nice gift.

I don`t like it, and I sprayed it in the office to see what my co-workers thought; consensus was that it was nasty, and that we had to put the fan on and open the window... and it still didn`t seem to leave. The overwhelming note is patchouli/musk/cedarwood, and sadly, they do not work together. If you like it, you won`t need much. The scent really hangs around. This is like a bad joke on the name, like it has been bottled since the last century and it has NOT aged like fine wine. At least the bottle and box look nice.

This is a nicely presented bottle of eau de toilette for men. I very much like this particular scent - it has a fresh, citrus fragrance that isn't at all overpowering.Maybe a little pricey but, overall, I'd happily recommend and would definitely consider buying again.
