1 MONTH REVIEW
Ok, so I finally found these after way too much searching. I honestly can't believe these aren't higher in the "True Wireless Earbud" category. A category that is increasingly clogged with as much cheap, no-name Chinese junk as the rest of Amazon seems to be these days; all marketing bs and disappointing delivery. These Treblabs? These are the opposite of that.Preface everything with the following: these are MY opinions as an audio enthusiast, but certainly no audiophile. I love and listen to a wide spectrum of music, but lately it's been a lot of predominantly bass-heavy stuff that is pretty dynamic in range due to sampling from a lot of instrumentation and vocals: Bonobo, Four Tet, Thievery Corporation, Amon Tobin, Aphex Twin, Forest Swords, Burial, Chemical Brothers, Jungle (the band), Dark Sky, Pretty Lights, Emancipator, etc.If you are like me, you are looking for the smallest form-factor without sacrificing too much acoustic quality or spending over $100. Since tasty bass, punchy mids, and nice clear highs are all a must, I know I'm asking a lot of the sub $100 range, but I wanted to see if I could find it before venturing into the $100-200 section. All that said, these Xfits SMASHED my expectations, but you have to know a few things first:1. Properly-fitting earbud tips are vital in hearing what the earbud has to offer.I'm guessing a lot of the TWE products out there get unfair reviews just because people aren't using the best earbud size for their canal. A good way to determine that is just by how well an earbud blocks out environmental noise without being turned on. If your earbuds fit correctly, it'll be very similar to plugging your ears with your fingers; just listening to your breathing should be loud enough to creep you out.I took the stock tips for a test run right out of the box, and would rate the listening experience at a 6. It was fairly meh. But when I put my mini tips on that properly sealed my ear canal, these things got WOKE. Bass was plenty present, mids were balanced, and highs pleasingly crisp with no noticeable hiss or buzz during quiet intervals.2. Not all devices are created equal.Your phone or computer will play a huge part in your listening experience. Different DACs, different music apps, different EQs all factor in.I've tested these on my HTC U11 with poweramp player, which has a proprietary EQ that does make a significant difference. However, the HTC DAC isn't the greatest, and Spotify (non-premium mind you, because I'm obviously a frugal, practically-minded consumer if you haven't already figured it out) sounded great with no additional sound mods.I have Equalizer APO + Peace GUI on my PC (which if you don't have I highly recommend, all free programs) and is fairly night and day. With stock PC audio settings, the earbuds sound muddy and dull. Turn the EQ programs on and again, these things are ready to start a party between your ears.***GENERAL THOUGHTS***It's abundantly clear that Treblab put some good money behind this package. Nothing about it feels cheap or rushed. Everything has a good fit and finish far above the $30 (!?!) I paid. I'm still honestly shocked at how well put together everything is for the price. The manual even gives suggestions on how to recycle/properly dispose of the earbuds when they inevitably die! Points for attention to detail. The wedding ring-sized case is nice, hard plastic with magnetic lid closure that feels very satisfying to open and close. I love the subtle branding throughout; no cheesy logos mucking anything up here. All black, all right. Airpod fans can keep your goofy overpriced danglers. The buds themselves will often pair to each other and the device in a matter of seconds after taking them out of the case. Battery life is a consistent 3-4 hours on 50-75% volume. They charge back up in about an hour. The decision to ditch touch controls in favor of simple buttons here was a major win in my book; no chance for buggy functions or accidental presses if an earbud starts to slip out., which these do not in my experience. They might start to budge a little when I give it my best squinty gym-face on a hard rep, but they're so light and small to begin with that they honestly couldn't be much smaller without making sound compromises with drivers.****WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?****Not much TBH. I've had the left earbud occasionally drop connection very quickly (less than a second, and less than once per hour of listening), but that typically only happens on my computer, so it could just be an issue with that specific Bluetooth connection.Yeeaahhh...that's about it really. You will not find a better bud in this price range. I know because I've spent way too many hours scouring the offerings, and just happened to find this one at the tail end of my search and was so pleasantly surprised that I wanted to leave a review to bigup this brand. It's $36 at the time of writing, which is mind-boggling. YMMV, but with free returns and so many other good reviews, you got nothing to lose. Add to cart!

Another high-quality, innovative product from Treblab! Highly recommended!
After reading through several product reviews of completely wireless earbuds, I decided to purchase the Xfits over 6 months ago, making them my fourth headphone purchase from this Treblab.Pros:The storage case is beautifully constructed in that is compact, intuitively functional, aesthetically pleasing, and most of all, sturdy. This alone is nearly enough to warrant the product 5 stars. Additionally, the battery life of the earbuds is sufficient and coupled with the fact that the case automatically charges them, I've never had an issue with the batteries running low. The earbuds magnetically snap back into the case, making it arguably one of the coolest tech designs I've seen in a very, very long time. In a quiet environment, the sound quality is very good and of the caliber I would expect from Treblab, based on prior purchases. Lastly, the voice during power on, indicating which earbud is intended for which ear as well as when they are connected to the device, is a nice touch. Seriously people, imagine if you had this tech 20 years ago at the price listed--you cannot tell me that your mind wouldn't be completely blown!Cons:To be fair, my issues with the Xfits have been more in getting them to fit in my ears just right so that 1) they do not fall out and 2) they result in the same great overall sound quality I have come to expect from Treblab. The net result is that even though the audio engineering specs are comparable (or better) to the other models, I'm just not getting the same rich, bassy, isolated sound that I do from my pairs of (wired) XR100's and XR800's. This does not mean that the Xfits don't still perform well, but the sound degradation effect was most noticeable on my last plane flight where I was unable to get sufficient volume and/or noise-cancellation in order to hear much over the engine/cabin noise. I noticed that if I pressed the earbuds in enough and held them in place with my fingers, they sounded very good. While I will continue to try different sizes of the foam cushions, the fact that I have yet been unable to get a perfect seal (as with my other products) was slightly disappointing. One additional nit is that the printing on the earbuds that indicates R or L was difficult to read from the outset and then the paint quickly wore off after a few uses. I then had to rely upon placing them back in the case in an order that I could remember, or listening to the power-on voice, to tell me which earbud was right or left.Summary:This is an overall fantastic product from Treblab and even despite the "cons" noted, I would highly recommend the Xfits to anyone looking for a combination of good sound quality at a low price. To put these into comparison with higher-cost products like the Jaybirds I've (sadly) owned, the Treblabs put them to absolute shame--both in terms of product value and customer service.
