I have been looking at buying one of these jackets for a while and had fortunately tried one on in a shop a while back. I checked reviews before ordering and noted people saying you need to order a size bigger. I did order a size XL having looked at the sizing chart. I’m 5’4 size 14 and this is a lovely fit which still curves at waist. In other clothes I’m normally M/L. I love the dark blue colour of the jacket and the branding. It has a slim lining that actually makes it warm to wear. They cost a bit more than other makes but I would say they are a bit better quality over all. Buy one and love it :)

This is a great waterproof and windproof jacket for walking my dog. It's got a great warm fleecy lining. Look great too!

The coat is fleece lined which I didn’t know from the description, but it is warm. I’ve worn this coat several times during the rain and it is a really good to keep the rain out. I bought large and the sleeves are too long for my arm length, and it barely zips closed over my hips. The hood rolls up and is stowed in the collar which makes it great to keep it attached but when the hood is stowed away the collar is bulky and rides up my neck which I didn’t like, I was constantly pulling my hair out of the coat. Additionally, the logo is on 6 places of the coat which I don’t like to be a walking billboard. Overall, the quality is there, I just have these few concerns that doesn’t mean anything else to others, I will keep the coat because I may be tooo late for a return.

I’m a size 12. I checked my measurements against the Helly Hansen size chart and I’m medium. I already own a medium size Helly Hansen jacket which I’ve had for years. It’s a comfortable, relaxed fit. So, thank goodness I read and believed the other reviewers and ordered large size in this jacket. It’s a very snug fit. Maybe I could have done with extra large but the shoulders and sleeves would have swamped me. As it is, the sleeves are a bit too long in the large jacket but the Velcro fastening will deal with that.

Too tight for a medium size.it is frustrating because in returning you need to spend for the post.Yes it is cheaper price but ended up spending same from buying in the store because of the extra cost you made in returning. It also messed up my excitement.Too fristrating.and my money was not refunded of course in time.I ordered 2 jackets.the other came early and cancelling the next but did not went thru in a span of 1 day only now the 2nd will arrive and i will spend again another return.
