Electric Fence Light LED Bulb - Warning - Warning - Will only Work with 2 Joules & Under!

after 60 days of using this it is working good.i am running a parmak 5 fencer so my fence is hot (i have a critter problem).this light will flash every two pulses of the fencer witch is good for me.it was a bit fussy to get the air-gap set right for the popper, to close and it pulls to much power out of the fence to much and it will not jump. for me it seams to be 3/8 of a inch gap.i am going to try to contact the seller and see if i can get a spare bulb to keep around.i would say yes this works good but you are going to need a real fencer not a tractor supply junk one. they just don't have the power behind them.

When we got this light we could not get it to work. There was a number to call in with the paperwork if there was a problem. I called and left a message thinking that I would not get a call back. John call back on Sunday!!! We continued to have problems and had numerous calls to John. He was very knowledgeable and gave us many ideas on what to do. In the end, the light works perfect as the problem was human error in the grounding of our electric fence. If it had not been for John's patience, knowledge, and his desire to get the light to work, we would have sent the light back thinking it was a bad product. I would recommend this company to anyone thanks to John.

Worked for a couple weeks, then intermittently and now not at all.

This is a cool product, the concept is very good. When I started to adjust the spark gap I found that he drained most of the voltage from my fence. I adjusted it several time without success. I finally set the gap wide and it didn’t work but I left it hooked up and it started working properly without a voltage loss across my fence. Turned it off and it didn’t work when I repowered it up but started working the second day. Since I have a good adjustment I love it.

John was extremely helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable. I ordered the wrong style and called for advice. (Be certain you read the details of the two lights. The LED bulb style is for fencers that are less than 2 joules and the Z-Bulb Plus is for larger chargers). John advised how to set up my fence light and sent out the same day the correct style and trusted me to ship back the style I had ordered. Very helpful and accommodating. The system works well for me. I can tell at a glance that the fence is working and I believe that the blinking light is another deterrent to the bears that I am trying to keep away from the bees.

This was the exact thing I needed to check on the electric fence and make sure it was working. The light worked for 6 days and then quit. It might have been my electric fencer was more powerful than it can handle although I don't think so or it just didn't hold up but I have purchased another of the same to see if it was the light. I hated to purchase to at the cost but really do want to know if the fence is working properly without going out with a meter and checking it every day. I will have to see if the second one works or doesn't. I did buy a new fencer to see if that had something to do with it as well.

I use a lower-amperage energizer for my chicken coop. I was always concerned if the power was on and everything operational and had to go out to see the light on the energizer. Using this light I can see it from the house with excellent visibility and the 'knocker' is picked up by my CCTV cameras so I can even hear that it is operating from another room. I thought it was a little pricey BUT for the peace of mind I have now - it's worth it!

Nice idea and good support. However, I have had 2 bulb failures. The bulb it came with lasted about 2 days. I talked to support than he said I needed to order a new one. I did that and it lasted about 2 days. My fence is new: wire, zareba 2 joule/50 mile charger, nothing touching wire except plastic. The fence is short, but I need the high joule spec to keep predators (coyotes) away from my chickens and goats. It is also very loud, which is a problem for us because it is only 50 yards from the house. I was willing to deal with the zapping noise if it worked.
