Gskyer 37991 Telescope White

I purchased this product for my 6 yo son's room as we are planning a do over in a cowboy theme. I had been looking for a western themed lamp for weeks when I came upon this item on Amazon and was immediately drawn to the detail of both the shade and the base; in particular, the range of colors on the base (horse, saddle, fence...). The transaction went through smoothly and within a week to ten days the item arrived. Well, AN item arrived. Just not THE item I had purchased.While the item that arrived was similar to the one pictured it was NOT the item pictured. That detailed, multi-colored base that I was so thrilled about? Nothing but brown on brown on brown on brown. Not a color to be had, other than brown. I didn't want a brown lamp. A brown lamp will be lost against the dark wallpaper in my son's room. What I wanted was the lamp that was pictured in the photograph. But now I have a brown horse lamp. Dark brown. A clear case of bait and swith. Buyer, please beware!!!To be fair the company did promptly respond to my emails and offered me a full refund waiving the restocking fee. While I appreciated the gesture I must say I still find myself extremely angry because now I am faced with an extra 10-15 dollar expenditure to repack and reship this item....which will be on top of the 8 dollars I already spent to have it shipped to me in the first place. That'll be over 20 dollars I will have had to spend in order to get 26 dollars back that I never would have spent if the item had not been misrepresented to begin with. Is the hassle of lugging it to fed ex for the return worth 6 bucks? What if they claim they don't ever get it back or something happens to it en route? I'm now out almost 50 dollars, that's what!At the very least this company needs to take one of those lamps out of it's packaging and take a new photo for it's potential customers. In home decor the actual color of the product MATTERS.

Bought for my daughters room. Very nice quality they are happy with the lamp.

I bought this for my nephew who is in love with anything cowboy and horse related. I wasn't sure because I read a review that said the shade was too dark, but not at all. The scene on the shade is detailed and looks authentic. I love the horse, my nephew was so happy. It even has a rope that wraps around the saddle. Its a great lamp provides more light than i thought. Also the lamp doesn't look cheap and appears to cost more than the actual price. This is a steal,

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter. She and her husband love it, as their house is done up in western style. Fast shipping as well.

Got this as a gift for my horse loving niece. No bait and switch as others described. It matched the pictures and went over really well.

Works perfectly

The item in picture shows more color and much brighter. When I received the item the horse saddle fence, basically the whole lamp is very dark dark brown and black making it difficult to see detail. The rope is not even attached to the lamp it's just lying on the fence, the shade is cheaply sprayed with what looks like a stencil and all black. Would send it's back but just to much trouble. I'll probably paint it. Disappointed
