Perfect for any non liquid food. The containers that perfectly in the cabinet, easy to hand wash and also dishwasher safe. Microwave safe and the glasses also safe in the oven to a certain degree. Extremely good for meal prepping.

I decided to throw out most of my plastic storage containers (you know...all those tubs you get from ordering Chinese Take-i-out-i) and do something healthy and store my leftovers in glass instead. I'm very happy with the smaller size of these. They are also perfect for freezing meals for two. Since purchasing these, I purchased about 6 more as well as silicone lids for them. The silicone lids (not included with these) are great because they freeze better and can be put in the oven and the dishwasher.

I love these! I actually bought them in all available sizes, to replace my ancient, unhealthy plastic containers. I'm glad I ignored the reviews that complained about the quality of the lids: yes, they are best not microwaved, but you can buy silicone lids separately to resolve that problem (at least for the round Pyrex). The lids are plenty tight enough. I also always disregard reviews about products arriving flawed; stuff happens, and arranging for a replacement is easy. Out of a large number of Pyrex I ordered, one was flawed; no big whoop. I regret that the Pyrex don't nest as well as my old plastic containers do, but that's understandable because of the thickness of the glass (which I appreciate, especially after I dropped one while standing up trying to get the lid off and it did not break). Also, I wish Pyrex made 3-cup bowls, not just rectangular containers. Overall, though, I actually enjoy cooking more now, with my pretty new Pyrex.

Easy to use and clean. Dishwasher safe !

This 3-cup size is just perfect for use in a 6-quart or larger Instant Pot. In reading the reviews before I bought this product, there was a lot of discussion about the lids not fitting, especially when packing the rectangular dishes in lunches. Before I bought the dishes with their plastic covers, I noticed people saying do not put the lids in the dishwasher. However, in looking at the lids when I received them, it was clear that they are only designed as covers. They do not make an air-tight seal; they are not designed for an air-tight seal. When you put a lid on one of the new dishes, you can press the top of the lid and see the air going in and out. Pyrex says the lids are dishwasher safe on the top shelf, which is probably true though I have not tested this.For use in an Instant Pot, a person only needs 2 of these rectangular dishes and if they need covering during cooking, one uses aluminum foil, not the lids they come with. However, the lids make it convenient to cover the dishes in the refrigerator. I am sharing my purchase with my 2 friends so we can all do Pot-in-pot cooking and each have 2 of these dishes.

These are so handy for packing up grab and go lunches for the work-week on Sunday. They're not leak proof but ideal for side items to complement what's in the leak proof bowls. Durable and stack well too! Here's how we use - Sunday's I fill 5 containers with 2-3 kinds of snack size fresh veggies like cherry tomatoes, carrots, sweet peas, sweet peppers, small cukes (anything not cut, just washed). Then I fill 5 leak proof bowls with a homemade bone broth based soup (it gels which makes it less leaky). Stack em all up in the frig. Each morning I add a half of an avocado sprinkled with seasoning and a wedge of lime to the prepacked veggie container. Now the easy part. One veggie container and one soup bowl go into an insulated bag with a piece of fruit. Ta'da! Hubs has a happy belly and is healthier not eating cafeteria sludge :) Since starting this a few months ago, it's made a huge difference in his weight & energy level. He uses a warming plate in a soft canvas container to heat his soup at his desk (on Amazon too). But I couldn't do it w/o an Instant Pot for quick healthy soups and these glass & soup containers.
