NORTIV 8Men's Slip On Loafer Walking Shoes

I guess we can call this a Merrell Jungle Moc clone.I've worn Merrell Jungle Moc for years but lately quality has slipped, and they are no longer good, so it was time to look for something else.I didn't expect much out of these considering the price but so far, I'm very pleased. In many ways these are better than even the Merrell of old.I've only had this pair for about a week and usually I wait to do a longer-term review, but I had to slip this review in early because of the sizing issue. Many are advising to order a half size up which is what I did. What I received were shoes that were a half size too big (what a surprise). I returned those and ordered my correct size and those fit perfectly. Maybe this manufacturer has corrected the sizing error in these shoes that many have reported.Compared to the Merrell's these are:1. Roomier in width, especially around the Toe box area.2. More aggressive tread, more non-slip.3. Seem to be well made4. Comfortable and supportive like the Merrell of old.5. Water resistant. Water seems to bead off rather than soak in. Merrell were also very water resistant.6. The back is more wedge shaped and less prone to collapse than the Merrell. Easier to slip them on and off without bending down or using a shoehorn. I would say these are pretty much hands-free shoes.7. It has a smaller loop at the heel, so my trousers don't get caught in it. Merrell users understand what I mean.The only thing I don't like is the insole which is thick and squishy. I replaced it with another insole that I prefer so this is a very minor complaint.let's hope they last. I hope they work out for you.

I was skeptical to order these shoes based upon some of the negative reviews but the obnoxious price of the name brand version compelled me to roll the dice. I'm so glad I did. I'm an avid outdoorsman... hunt/fish/camp/kayak/boat. I buy gear and footwear for specific purposes. I would never opt for a below-ankle slip-on shoe for trail or field use... no ankle support nor fastening method to provide "off road" stability. To me... these shoes are the wrong solution for that application. I bought these shoes as winter commuter shoes and to that end these have been FANTASTIC! Full suede leather upper for warmth, heavy duty hob-knob soles for sticky foot placement on snow/ice/slush, and a great toe-kick tip. I've had them a year now and they're still in great shape... no blow-outs or delamination and the knob soles have held up well - still look new. Again... these are easy-peasy grocery/mailbox/erranding go-getters for me. I sprayed them down with Nikwax when I got them... and again before the second winter season. Now they're water repellant and don't absorb the salts that leather shoes usually do in Midwest winters. Sizing is spot on.. I ordered my usual size. Plenty of support for my 200lb. Great shoes if used for the right application. Buy with confidence.

Tight fit when new but break in fairly easily. Back pull on strap is too small for adult fingers. Fairly comfortable for walking and good foot support. Hopefully are water repellant.

This is by far the most comfortable shoe I have found , priced very reasonable, I the slip on while I drive my big truck over the road, easy on easy off

I am so impressed, I just had to write this review right away. It might be premature, but I will update with time as I experience these shoes. Let me start by saying that I am just coming from torturing myself with some Merrell Jungle Mocs. From the moment I put those on, they felt bad. Tight, hard, uncomfortable. I gave them a good try -you know, you’re supposed to breaking them in, right?-, but after getting my feet destroyed, I ended up returning them. They were just awful! Looking for alternatives, I saw Nortiv 8 had these similar shoes. I already own a pair of Nortiv 8 boots that I really like, so I thought I gave them a try. OMG! From the moment I tried them on, I knew I had hit jackpot. First, they are a perfect fit. I am 12, and these shoes are just right. Take that, tight Merrells! And then the comfort! Perfectly cushioned, well balanced. The construction seems to be of very high quality, which came to no surprise based on the experience with the boots. So, in summary, if you are considering these shoes, you owe it to yourself to give them a try!

The brown shoes which I received earlier this week are definitely not brown. The closest color would be a medium gray, however in some light conditions it shifts to a darker gray with a greenish cast. The gray suede is not unattractive, the shoes appear to be well made and are comfortable upon the initial use..

I was excited to read other reviews that mentioned these mocs are similar to the bigger brand names. I've had trouble with the inside backs of my mocs wearing out in a year or two from slipping the shoes on and off. So, I was in search of a more affordable alternative. These fit the bill! It's only been a day, so I can't speak to longevity, but the arch support, stability, sole strength, and fit are all comparable to my previous mocs. They also allow for hands-free slip-on accessibility. I'm incredibly pleased.

Lo que me agrada del mocasín es que son de piel y el diseño ergonómico que tienen, no había podido encontrar este tipo de zapato en ninguna zapatería y buscando en línea tampoco, por eso les doy 5 estrellas a la marca, por tener variedad en sus productos y el zapato está de 10, sugiero comprar una media talla más grande para evitar que te aprieten.
