Laurence King Dog Bingo

GREAT FUN GOOD QUALITY
Have had Bird Bingo for over a decade and continue to play it. We play to fill up our bingo cards which makes the game last and is fun. The identification pieces and game board (folded in fourths) are thick material. All the birds are identified on both the cards and game board so expect the dog version to be the same. A fun, educational game worth the price. Great way to learn more about animal identification.

Fun
Our daughter sent us this game. Our grandsons have it. They live out of state. Because of Covid 19, we have not been able to see them for several months. We facetime with them and play games! It's so much fun!We have the ocean Bingo as well! Certainly have made our dull pandemic days much brighter!!♥️ We number our cards to make sure we have different ones, and one person is the caller.

Nice quality
This is a well-made game. The illustrations are excellent, and the materials used for the board and dog tiles are good quality. The game tokens are on the cheap side, but overall this is a very nice game!

A fun game for the whole family--ability to read not required!
This is a great family game to play with a variety of ages since reading isn't really necessary. The kids love dogs and this is also a fun way to learn about different breeds.

"Learn the names and characteristics?"
The quality of the pieces and the artwork are great. However, the description on the back of the box is misleading: "Dog Bingo brings a fun and educational twist to the traditional game as players learn the names and characteristics of both their favorite dogs and unfamiliar breeds." This makes it sound like the game is played by giving clues to the characteristics of the dog, rather than just calling out their name. That is not the case. There is a pamphlet in the box which gives a little background on each breed, but the calling cards have the name of the dog only. It would be a great game for families with young children, but is boring for adults only. They could satisfy a whole age range by listing three major characteristics - like "mostly brown", "originates from Asia", "bred to guard temples", along with the dog's name on the calling card. Then, you could use the game however you like depending on the age group you're playing with, and it would be true to the description on the back of the box.

This game is great if you are a dog lover
This game is great if you are a dog lover. I am a teacher and used it in my enrichment class about dogs. The students had fun guessing what dog breed I was describing and finding it on their board. The boards do have different breeds on them so no two boards are alike. It also comes with an instruction manual that has descriptions of dogs - just in case you are not familiar with what a Lowchen or a Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen is.

Wonderful fun and educational too!
What a wonderful game the children love this bingo, they always ask for it when they come home from school. We all get to know the different breeds of dogs and everyone has their favorites. It is a great game for all ages and we have several of them, bird bingo and insect bingo plus the dogs, very educational but bags of fun.

Perfect for little doggy fans!
Bought for my daughters 5th birthday, shes a massive fan of everything dogs and this didn’t disappoint. In fact it’s one game that my older kids don’t mind playing with her! Lots of dog breeds we’ve never heard of. Simple to play a Great game

Loads of fun
We like getting about 3 boards each and fighting to the death with this game. The names of the dogs should all be said in a German accent for added tension.

Good game but Bird Bingo is so much better
My 3 year old loved the bird bingo i.e. We had to play it 3 to 4 times a day so we bought the dog bingo. It's not as good as all the dogs are mostly big and brown so it's quite hard to distinguish one dog from another whilst the birds in bird bingo are colourful and really quite different. So in short get the bird bingo first it's much better

A great present
A great present bought for my grandaughter. She loved it on Christmas Day. She’s only 4 and was quicker than us than identifying the dogs. Definitely a great learning game for young ones.
