Great movie, especially if you love anime. The 4k hd dvd looks and sounds great. Comes in a cheap plastic no thrills case, but with a 4k hd dvd and blueray discs, along with a digital download voucher

10 out of 10 movie and a great upscale. Definitely worth a purchase if you are a fan of the series and have a 4K TV.

A stunning movie of being so worried about the lack of evidence of your reality you tell everyone about it- no that’s the bad one forgive meI happened to overload myself of “Ghost in the Shell.” I had already watched the movie and the sequel years before and decided to come back as part of my Mamoru Oshii Marathon. slow as a marathon can be I ended up reading the manga and postponing rewatching the movie, I rewatched the sequel after this and watched the 2.0 version (dubbed). Then I watched the live action remake, I think that movie was good, I allowed me to see what a movie that was a third of this movie lopped off and embalmed with Hollywood nonsense would be like. I decided to come full circle and buy this 4k Blu ray to really put a finish on my “Ghost in the Shell Experience.” As the for the quality of the product itself, it is nice to have, love to Oshii for directing this masterpiece.

Movie arrived intact and played fine (I have only watched and am reviewing the 4k). The movie looked great in 4k. The Dolby Atmos was VERY good. I wasn't expecting the DA to be so good ..they made good use of all the speakers.

Really ? This move made 30 years ago? Story line is good enough even science fiction.

Excellent 4K transfer picture and sound. Still one of my favorite anime movies along with Akira and Princess Mononoke.
