You pay for what you get
Fixed my headlight issue in my Nissan 350z with HID headlights. Didn’t want to risk catching my car on fire with the $10 one

Perfect fit, so far so good! 2005 G35
Perfect fit same plug as the standard Infiniti plug and I was easily able to transfer over the wire to the bulb instead of removing the old one and re routing it back in the headlight, seems like they were great quality, just like stock!

Good product for the price, let's wait to see how long it lasts
install this, along with a dust cover kit as my right (passenger) headlamp got a lot of water from a damaged dust cover on my 04 350Z, install was easy, use original rust from old ballast, replace only D2 wire that came with the ballast for the original nissan, since the one included in this kit was 2cm thicker than the head (metallic) and did not allow the lid to close correctly, let's see from the date of purchase to how long this ballast lasts

Worked as it was supposed to.
I had condensation in the headlight of my 07 Infiniti G35 sedan(the 07&08 sedan look just like the G37 sedan) which led to the water draining to the bottom of the headlight housing and filling up the ballast caused the ballast to go out. The igniter wire that came with this unit was the same as the stock igniter wire I pulled out. There was a black piece of plastic that was used to hold the routing of the igniter wire. There was no way to reroute the United wire using the black plastic piece without taking the headlight housing apart. I just removed the black piece of plastic through the hole for the headlight bulb and left it out. So far I ran it about 20 hours no problems if it goes out ill update. On a side note I used silicone on the seam of the headlight housing let it dry for a day and reassembled it. I washed my car and there was no condensation the next morning. Be generous with the silicone if it looks like an area where it may get in just put a bunch of it on.

3/5 cuz its 50/50 if it will work or not
Now I will say, you can buy almost 12 of these ballasts, for the same price as 1 at the dealership..There is a reason for that.. you get what you pay for.I needed one, and the first one I got has worked amazing. Still works to this day.I later decided to replace the other side's ballast.. that one was a miss, junk, didn't work at all. I waited too long to install it to be able to return it (Requires removing the front bumper and entire headlight assembly in my vehicle to even test it/install.So be prepared to either waste 50 bucks if you can not install it within the period for returns, on a junk one.OR come up and save $600 vs the dealership price
