Jonard Tools CM-8 Coax Cable Mapper 8 Way and Toner Kit, For Cable Up to 4,000' Long

I just moved into a home where none of the coax cables were labeled. Instead of connecting a cable/antenna signal and then running upstairs to see if the signal passes, and repeating this and/or having a cell call with someone saying "nothing yet" over and over, i just bought this, screwed in the receivers to the open jacks, went to the distribution point and connected the signal generator nd could label all the lines.This worked flawlessly. I know that I could have done this with the single option, but for thr extra 12 dollars, it saved me probably about a couple hours. Great tool.

Use this everyday. Works great. Also good to cap lines to test for ingress. Love it!!

I paid a little more for this mapping tool, but found it is was worth it. I holds up and is very accurate in mapping cable

Works... Every time. I use this all day long. Its built well and does what its supposed to all day. I do wich the case had some extra places to hold 8 barrels but its a small matter.

I work for directv and this tool has paid for itself. Big jobs or old houses where there are lots of old wires that were never removed makes mapping them out a breeze. Haven’t used the network portion yet but I’m sure it will make those kinds of jobs easier.

Been awesome. No failures by Jonard here. Solid tool. I can make a product suggestion.. Hard metal non screwable top. The screwable part for the F-Connector is kinda useless in the field. I wish you had one of these with a level reader on it. Dual purpose! :) (adjustable for different specs in different markets)

This is a huge time saver. It works exactly how it's suppose to. I work for directv & lost mine so I ordered this one & I couldn't be happier. It allows you to map up to 8 rooms at once. Although my clumsy self will need to buy this again seeing as how when I open it up there are only 4 or 5 caps left in there. Another cool feature I'd it will map out a cable even if there are multiple barrels in the line. Great buy, will buy again. You buy as well. Buy. Just do it. Do it.

I bought this as a replacement for my Aska ctr-8 mapper that I misplaced. It works just as well with the added benefits of the gator clamp test leads. No more wasting connectors!!! My only complaint is that the belt clip isnt secured to the case very well. But for anyone doing Coax or low voltage wire work, it is a perfect ans welcome addition to your tool box

Works as advertised. Easy to use and feels durable. Would have liked pouch to open from top to bottom instead of bottom to top as if it's clipped on to a belt and it's open the flap folds down and open rather than sitting closed. Good product otherwise. Never had any issues with Jonard tools.
