one turn = 2.9508 degrees

Seems to be well designed for what it was intended for. The fine angle adjustment knob is a little bit stiff, compared with for example a general-purpose manual mount like the SVBONY SV225. I found that one full turn of the knob advances the angle by 2.9508 degrees (on average). I thought it would be an even 3 degrees, but no. Apparently they are using a worm gear with 122 teeth, and not 120 as I had expected. Anyway it does work and it seems pretty sturdy as well.

Great for fine tuning

Great bracket for the fine tuning of the declination on a sky watcher star adventurer 2i mount. This enables you to fine tune even if your polar alignment isnt that good from the start. It is very well made and very lite and can be used in more ways than just one camera or small telescope.

Good News - Quality Bracket; Bad News - Tech/Customer Support

I ordered this bracket for use with the Sky-Watcher EQM-35 Pro mount I recently purchased. The declination bracket appears to be a well-designed , solidly-constructed, and well-finished item. Its use is obvious, with one issue. Since no information (except for a warranty sheet) came with the bracket there is no information for the use of the tabbed collar (please see attached image - collar in question indicated by yellow arrow). Tightening it seemed to have no effect on movement of the smaller (rotation) knob. I emailed Sky-Watcher tech support/customer service for clarification. I included the same image of the bracket that is attached to this review. And, here's the reply I received:HelloThank you for contacting Sky-Watcher USA technical support. The green bar is for attaching a telescopeor camera to the mount. That's it - period. After rummaging around on the internet, I chanced upon an operating manual for Sky-Watcher's Star Adventurer. And, there it was, included in that manual's Appendix II (please see attached Appendix image). My small experience with Sky-Watcher indicates that design, construction, and build quality of their products is very well done. Their manuals and customer service/tech support leave a lot to be desired.

Happy With This Purchase

The unit is solid and fits perfectly on my Star Adventurer Watcher. I use it when I have a heavier lens (or telescope) on the Star Adventurer.

Decent manufacturing and lots of small things that need improvement.

The aluminum vixen rail is well made and fits my AZ-GTI perfectly. That's about where any praise I have for this stops. The black piece that mounts the camera is not super great. The rubber pad that is used as a friction device to make sure the camera turns with it when you adjust it is coming off on mine. The glue just isn't holding. There's no way to index the direction the camera is pointing, so If I want to make sure that my camera is perpendicular to the rail, there's no way to guarantee it.If you don't want to use it, or need to use the the camera in a different orientation, you can remove the camera mount and attach a ball head. But I bought this so I wouldn't have to buy anything else. Why not make it so that piece can be attached to the end of the rail? This seems super obvious to me. I can't be the only one right? I mean, there could even easily be like an adapter to make that happen, it's got a place on the end to attach a counterweight bar with an M8 bolt. You could easily bolt on an adapter that you could attach the camera thing to. Seems like a huge oversight.

Great for attaching DLSR to mount.

This is a perfect device for connecting a DLSR camera to an AZ-GTI mount. It has a 1/4-in screw to connect the camera and a vixen dovetail to connect the mount. The tracking mount works the same way it would work with a telescope attached. No additional parts are needed for tracking and taking wide pictures of night sky objects. The device is sturdy and stable. It includes an adjustment knob for making fine-tuned adjustments. An additional 3/8-in screw is included for attaching balance weights or a ball-head if you prefer.

Worth the cost for easier alignment!

I was on the fence about the bracket. I use a lighter camera and didn't need the weight, but read that this lets you do your polar alignment while leaving the system intact. And it does work! Camera and gear sits up at the top without any issues.I may remove the weight mount so I can save a little more weight on my entire setup, but I consider this just as important as the equitorial mount now.
