Works wonders with the mclassic and orei xd4000
By using all three devices together, I get an ultra crisp and processed 4k image with anti aliasing and depth of field. I use retrovision component cables for ps2, and by scaling the image with the sunnatch to 600p, the mclassic does lots of work cleaning everything up and I no longer need outdated home brew to force progressive resolutions to trigger my scaler. Essentially, all games that don't support gsm will work flawlessly with this setup.

Don't buy it! Waste of $40!
I tried this with a PS2 and a Panasonic PV-D4742. The PS2 does nothing at all, while the Panasonic only shows garbage then goes into the colour bars screen. Before you ask, no, there isn't anything wrong with the 2 devices. They both work fine on other video sources.

Good For Price + Lots of Output + Noise/Grain/Overscan
My Usecase:Connecting a DVD/VCR combo to capture card to digitize old tapes.Pros:Pretty good overall. I love the amount of options for output. And it's a great performer for upscaling to higher resolution. Build quality is all metal and rarely heats up during use. Good brightness levels.Cons:When compared to a similar Startech device, which uses RCA to upscale to 720p. While this Sunnatch unit has a higher brightness, it has a lower contrast between objects than the Startech. There is also a notable difference in grain noise when compared to the Startech. The Sunnatch makes a lot more noise. There's also the problem of overscan. On the top and side of the image, there is a white line and empty space. Conclusion:This device is fantastic for the price, especially with all of the output options, but I think I'll stick with my Startech for a clearer image. Don't get me wrong: the Sunnatch is a fantastic piece of equipment for the price, especially since the StartTech was more than twice as much.

Impressed by this little box
This was a surprise to me of the overall quality. I like the metal case instead of plastic. The internals look well made and has a heatsink to help with cooling and performance. A ton of different scaling options for the price. Colors look good and audio sounds normal. I do think maybe the colors are a little dim but it could be the testing media I was using. You can correct this with a gamma increase in your screen settings. Of note you cannot pass composite signal through this only component. I cannot speak to longevity of this because I’ve only had it a couple of weeks. But the build quality makes me think it will last.I hope to do a comparison video of this and a GBS-Control on my YouTube channel Game Central Station so keep an eye on that. I think for the everyday person who doesn’t want to have to tinker with expensive scalers this is a very good option for the money.

Flickering, disconnecting, scrolling, it’s all BAD!!!
Don’t waste your money on this. Especially if you were referred by any YouTube videos. The quality of this product does not match what is advertised. Horrible device.

Don't waste your money
I took a chance on this cheap converter/scaler to use with my PS2 to hopefully cut down on input lag by bypassing my TV's own de-interlacing and scaling, but the image quality output by this device is just not good. The scaled image is blurry, soft, lacks contrast, and displays noticeable artifacts around dark areas at all times.

not bad
it has very good picture quality only issue is that the power supply isn't strong enough it was causing the picture to flicker real bad, i had to hook it up to a power supply that put out 2 amps of current, the one they supply only puts out 1 amp but other than that works great.

Perfect for DVD players
This product definitely fixed my issues with my DVD player. What is said in the description is true.I had the problem of losing the signal as soon as a disk was playing. Other Components to HDMI was doing this but this one solve it.It’s a good manufacturing product. Not made out of cheap plastic.
