Modular Crimping 6 In 1

Not good as like others

My step son asked me to get him a modular crimping tool on Amazon because he lost his and he needed it the next day. He didn't have time with his work schedule (Cable & Fiber Optic Installation Supervisor) to run to the store before then and he gets home too late. He said try to pick a brand name and I had heard of Jonard (he had too but he thought them inferior to a couple of others that cost much more). So I ordered these and had them over-nighted. I got lucky he was very impressed with them and stunned when I told him what I paid. He's used them in the field now for over a month and told me last night that he was very happy with them and that they were holding up very well indeed in everyday use. So I scored one with the step son.He said to say that in his opinion these were as well made as any he's seen on the market and he likes the feel and the balance in the hand. They cut and strip as well as crimp first time every time for him. When he's working a business job (installing networking and cable components) that's important to getting a highly complex job done within his allotted time window.He said he'll buy them next time too and other Jonard tools of the trade from now on.

This tool description states it is made of aluminum. I did not think this was going to be true, so I ordered it since I liked the look of the tool. It arrived and it is NOT aluminum. It is made of solid steel. Seems to be very durable and well made. Great tool. Item description needs to be changed to be more accurate. Jonard may be losing some sales of this quality tool based on material description.

I used this to crimp ends onto a pro-install radar detector system when shortening all the various cable lengths to the different components. This is a sturdy tool!
