Q: My blender's model number is PBB209. Does it fit inside the black clover shaped lid?

My model number is 51BL29 it has a black clover cover and the new lid center fit as it should. I suggest you check the Waring website if you are concerned.

Q: This will be the 3rd lid we have had to order for this blender.Has anyone else experienced the lid cracking after only a few times of use?

I had my first, original one for 30 years (the Waring blender itself still works perfectly)! This replacement cracked within 6 months and completely broke after a year. I guess 15 years isn’t a bad average. Now buying another replacement. A glass option would be nice.

Q: This was "barely" too large in circumference for my blender. What is the next size down?

Only one size. Try heating up the lid (the part it goes inside) in the dishwasher or some hot water to man it more pliable.
