This box is just right for my papers. The letter size hanging folders fit well. There is also an inside pocket. The materials seem to be good quality and are sturdy. It zips closed and there is an opportunity to lock it if you want to. I couldn’t ask for anything better.

I purchased this fireproof box with the hope that it will offer protection if the unthinkable ever happens. I recently prepared my NOK (Next of Kin) documents to help set my family up for success and reduce stress in the future, and this box was the perfect place to store them.The assembly was simple, and it holds a good amount of documents and small valuables. It’s fully packed now, yet still light enough to move around. The built-in handles make it easy to grab and go, which is a thoughtful feature.It is lockable, and while the lock isn’t high security, it adds an extra layer of peace of mind. The quality feels solid, especially for the price, which I felt was very reasonable.I gave it 4 stars only because I can’t personally speak to how it will perform in an actual fire — and hopefully, I’ll never have to find out. That said, it meets my needs, feels reliable, and gives me a little more peace of mind knowing my important documents are in one place.

This has helped me keep track of all our important documents. 10/10 purchase. Def need to reorganize but it fits a TON and after using it for the last year or so I still have so much space to use.

The recent fires in Southern California had us rethinking about how we store valuable documents in our homes. Our present safe is large, bulky and not at all easy to pick up should we need to relocate it. I purchased this portable fire box specifically so should we need to move our valuables and documents in a hurry, we could. It is spacious, can have file folders added and allows for organization which the old safe did not. Most importantly, the box is sturdy, can be locked and has straps that enable you to pick it up to move it. All in all, a very good purchase.

Seems very sturdy, almost too much so for what we need it for. Wanted to make sure items in safe are fireproof. This is so large, and while it shows that it can fold accordion style, it can't fold and be zipped up since the zipper goes all the way around the hard top. Unsure yet if it will fit in our safe or not. We needed something that would fit a 3 ring binder, so while this does that, it seems almost "overkill". Wish there was something a bit smaller

I definitely have my reservations on if the nylon zipper will last through a fire and protect the paperwork within. but the rest of the "box" is very sturdy and goes a long way towards reassuring my confidence for older paperwork that I want to keep safe but don't have any room for in my solid traditional fireproof safe. Would definitely buy another one if I needed the space.And for the love of everything good, please people stop complaining and just go buy some file folders from the Dollar tree! (or on Amazon for dirt cheap)
