Ohm's are the current that flow in electrical circuits, and Watt's are how power is dissipated. E.G. 300 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 500 W at 2 ohms approximately. The polk signature elite es15 that I have can go up to 8 ohms impedance. With this series. they all go up to 8ohms think. Hope this helps my friend
