Grease up the bolt shaft!!!
Worked well glad there’s a paper instructions to show what pieces go where. Was a pain to do by hand but definitely better with atleast a mid torque impact it takes a 27mm socket and 32mm socket also grease the bolt! From the amount of torque needed to push out the bearing it won’t last long without grease. I used wheel bearing grease and I liberally applied it

Cheap and effective
It worked well to free a stuck wheel bearing. The design in nice, everything is labeled. If there is one piece of advice I would give to any novice attempting to use this tool, it's don't forget your washers. If you don't use a washer, the tool will eat itself. Proper use is key.

Could have been five stars
Just finished replacing both front wheel bearings in 07 Sonata using this tool with two half inch drive breaker bars. Had hoped to accomplish this with hubs still mounted in car but maneuvering was difficult so I removed them and placed in large bench vise. The tool itself arrived yesterday and was disappointed to see the plastic latches busted from case and a small zip tie barely holding things together. Appears two or one large washer is missing. For the price of the tool I expected it to arrive intact. On the plus side there are two of the large driving bolts that others had mentioned stripped out. Maybe that's standard now to send two.The actual use of the tool was straight forward. I didn't think the second bearing was going to budge but a longer bar coerced it without any damage to the threads of nut or bolt.Putting things back tougher went just as smoothly with the tool working as you would expect. It's a little clumsy trying to hold everything while getting it snugged up and aligned. It seems well made and no issues with the threads like a few others had mentioned in their reviews. In all fairness I don't think these bearings were terribly difficult or large. I did a Kia optima few weeks ago with a homemade tool similar to this and it was worn out by the time was done which is why I purchased this.I recommend it. Great tool for weekend mechanic. Should mention I almost bought HF 12 ton press but didn't want to sacrifice floor space. Press would of been more versatile but not something I really need on regular basis and these hubs would have been difficult to level out on press. Not much flat area around hub to lay flat on blocks so in a way this tool was easier than press.

Great for subframe bushings too
Used this product to remove 30+ year old subframe bushings that are pressed in and extremely rusty, with some additional help form a blow torch and a 3/8 breaker bar, it made quick work of an otherwise painful job.All of the kits pieces are exceptionally robust, I had no issues with the threads stripping or wearing (like other reviews I've seen).Assembly is quick and easy, the bolt is even pre lubricated. There are plenty of sizes to fit practically every automotive application. The case is a bit flimsy, I did end up breaking it after I dropped it by my own fault, it is only plastic holding a lot of carbon steel pieces. To me this is a non issue, between the two bolts that are supplied you can carry all of the pieces on them for storage and minimize space taken up by the case. One thing I do wish was better is the length of the sleeves, I had reached full travel before the bushing bottomed out on the other side of the sleeve and used a rubber mallet for the rest

Performed well for what it is.
This product is a substitute for a real press. It works just fine if you go real slow and use a lot of penetrating oil to remove old rusted bearings. Even with that, I had one race that was very stubborn, so I used a propane torch to heat the race up. Also, tighten until it is good and tight, then back it off before tightening again. Spray rusted parts often with penetrating oil, especially after moving the bearing or race a bit. I bought this so I did not have to remove the suspension knuckle from the vehicle to remove the hub and wheel bearing. That took about 30 minutes. Replacing with the new parts went a little easier with this, but just a bit. Make sure to polish up the mating surfaces before putting in the new parts.I am satisfied with how well it worked, especially given the price.

The bolt and nut strip
So to start off this review, I was able to complete “1” side. Why do you ask “1” side?Well after getting the bearing out, I began to install said new bearing and noticed a lot of push back from the bearing. After I was successfully able to install the new bearing, I noticed that the threads of the bolt of this tool were nearly stripped at this point. Not good if you ask me.So after getting “1” bearing done, I needed to do the other side. So I started pulling out the last bearing. Once again while I started pulling the last bearing out, the bolt finally gave and decided to strip.Well thankfully the kit gives you “2” bolts to make things work. Well you might as well call it “1” simply because the “Big nut” we will call it, is also trashed at this point. Unfortunately I do not have anything else to make this work.As I begun installing the last nut, guess what happens??!? It stripes out Again!!! So I trashed both bolts out to install my last bearing. I’m so close at finishing I begin hammering the bolt head to finish off but this is where it gets worse. I am able to finally get the bearing to fit in with finger tight pressure of the nut and bolt and hammering the bolt head that when I pull the tool apart, the bearing falls apart. A BRAND NEW BEARING!So I am now down a new bearing and a new tool this weekend, along with being unable to complete this job with the new tool that is only 1 day old. I haven’t been more disappointed with a tool in my life. Don’t buy this tool; you would be better off with Harbor Freight or better at this point! Thanks Irion for wasting my time and money!!
