We installed it according to the documentation. In our case on the metal sliding doorframe and on its side. Installation was indeed simple. We waited two days for the stuff to settle. First night with the curtain we found all of it on the floor in the morning.So, it might work for some people, it might work on cement, but it does not on cleaned metal.

I had read the online reviews saying to soften the track with heat before straightening it out -- but I didn't listen and tried to just gently straighten it by hand, and it broke! But I emailed the company and they replied very quickly and sent me a new one. With this second one, I softened it up by holding it in front of a space heater (I don't have a heat gun lol) which worked perfectly.We found that if the track was too curved or too rigid, it created tension in the track and made it hard to click into the brackets. They kept popping out, which was frustrating. But we found that softening/straightening it more made a HUGE difference, and once it was softened up enough it clicked into the brackets pretty easily, and stayed put. Once the track was in place it worked like a dream. Overall I would recommend to a friend!

We have abnormally large bedroom windows in our rental, and finding a window covering was a challenge since we didn’t want to screw into the walls. I ended up purchasing 2 of these tracks & 4 curtains. The adhesive strips are very strong, however they did have some trouble sticking to our popcorn ceilings. I purchased this adhesive tape on Amazon & that seemed to be a better alternative for us. However, if our ceilings were smooth, I’m sure we wouldn’t have that issue. Bought the 16 feet track + extra an set of rollers & brackets for bow window.Excellent product, sturdy, very easy to cut, shape & install.NOTE: Suggest putting all brackets on track first & then screwing all into ceiling- much easier.Customer service was also very responsive & great.Mike

Packaged neatly and completely inside a small, thin box, the flexible track comes very tightly coiled. It is a good idea to follow the easy-to-understand instructions provided. Uncoil the track and work with heat, gentle pressure and/or water to remove the tension in the product. We live in the U.S. southwest and mid-April is already in the 90 degree F temperature range. I unpackaged the product, applied water and gentle weight/pressure, and slowly, over two days, the tension came completely out. The resulting track was very easily installed in a straight line and then bent almost at a right angle to form an "L" shape (as shown). Final product is excellent, sturdy and performs exactly as designed and expected. As the instructions state, do not drill the screws into any studs or joists. Use the wall anchors provided. I had zero problems with any hardware and was able to use everything provided with complete success. The curtains shown are 132 inches long and the hardware has zero difficulty supporting their weight and rolling smoothly and with ease. I cut the length of the track using a simple hand-held hack saw. If I ever needed to hang curtains like these again, I would not hesitate to purchase this same product/kit - very easy to install and very good quality.

I wanted a curtain rod to add privacy to our bunk over the driver’s compartment on our class c motorhome. I looked at various options, such as an expandable rod but I wanted something that was safe while traveling and was pleasing to look at. There was an existing piece of trim on the ceiling where I wanted to mount the curtain track. The track was easy to mount and tucked directly behind the trim so it was not visible. It is made of light weight plastic and clips together to the length you want. It is attached to the ceiling by self adhesive backing. I used a light weight curtain on the track and works exactly like I wanted it to. The curtain is approx 7 feet wide x 2 ft long. It slides very easy on the track. For this application it works as expected. The curtain track was reasonably priced.
