Flattens the tummy without constricting breathing
I am 5’6” and 190lb, I normally wear a L t-shirt that fits right, and I got an XL of this. It works exactly as I wanted it to. I’ve tried a lot of these, and this is the only one I’d suggest to people. The snaps for peeing are hard to clip back together, but that’s okay. Don’t expect miracles. You’re not gonna look like a size 0, but it flattens the tummy and keeps it from rolling as much so you can wear something a little tighter but also have your own bra, which is nice. I could breathe in it just as well as without. Also, I liked that the butt fabric was stretchier so that it doesn’t flatten the booty. If you’re on the sweaty side it might be uncomfortable because when I was warm at one point, I began to feel that it didn’t either soak or wick away sweat at all, so it just sat on the skin, but once I cooled down, it was fine.

This is my new favorite piece of shape wear
This is my new favorite piece of shape wear! I wore it to my high school reunion last weekend with a Lilly Pulitzer navy/gold sheath, and it worked like a dream!I also got the one that comes about 1/3 way down thighs. but when I bent over you could see it showing so I wore this one. It has two hooks between the legs for easy bathroom access. It is indeed FIRM control, and the straps over the shoulders were quite comfortable. I normally wear an XL, but got this in both XL an 1X as they can be difficult to get on. The 1X was hard to get one the first time when I went to compare sizes, but was much easier to put on the 2nd time. No discomfort at all. Highly recommend for firm tummy and muffin top control!

Perfect for post tummy tuck support.
Great option for post tummy tuck support. Once I was allowed to switch from a surgical garment I was overwhelmed looking for shapewear. So any brands and crazy size charts made my head spin. Bought a couple brands to try and this was best I found. Soft and seamless with firm support make it ideal for post op support & helps with swelling. I gave it 4 stars because I felt the straps should have adjusted to a longer length; they dug in a bit. The cost is another drawback. Having spent $$ on surgical garments I'm learning this is the standard & shapewear is pricey. If your trying to find a good support garment that is guaranteed not to roll down or have seams that indent swollen areas, this fits the bill. Buy a size up if your post op as these are designed to be snug and you don't want anything excessively tight. Even a size larger still offered plenty of compression.

Not what I paid for!
I will start by saying that the REAL oncore Spanx, I LOVE as I have the mid-waist short version. Unfortunately, the real oncore Spanx is not what I recieved. As seen in the picture I recieved Assets by Spanx which is sold at Target and Kohls for a fraction of the cost of this piece. I will say, I tried the Assets on and it it performed well. Just not as well as the oncore series. For sizing reference for other ladies, I am 5'7" 185lbs and wear a medium in Spanx. Sounds crazy but it tucks you in all the right places, doesn't wrinkle or cut in and is so comfortable.

Might not want to buy this if you're already curvy
I have a very curvy figure - 38" 33" 52" - and bought this to just flatten the front of my tummy a bit in tight shirts or dresses. The product is very sturdy and made of a silky, comfortable material. I have no complaints about the quality whatsoever. The cut of the garment is a bit too straight for my shape, though. It's tight across my hips, but then only slightly hugging my waist and ribs. As a result, my hips looks smaller and my waist looks bigger - not something any woman wants. Going down a size to fit my waist wouldn't change the shape that it's forcing my body into, unfortunately. I'd highly recommend this for anybody with a more moderate figure, though.

The cutout is NOT a dress hem holder!
Okay, so, that little cutout below your bust may SEEM like a good place to tuck your sundress when you’re using the facilities at a restaurant but do not, I repeat, DO NOT do it. You will regret it when you walk out of the stall and realize that everyone in line waiting is staring at the bandaid colored tummy tamer you’re so obliviously exposing. As for fit and comfort, this runs large. The straps are too wide set and dig into my armpits so badly that it becomes painful after a couple of hours. Otherwise, does what it promises.

I am in love with this piece and how it holds everything together
At first when I received this in the mail and held it up I thought to myself "its way too small" or 'If I did manage to get it on it would be uncomfortable cause I know its going be tight". Boy Oh Boy was I wrong, I am in love with this piece and how it holds everything together. I am 5'2 and pushing 180lbs (I know I know) so am I a bit on the thick side and getting use to my size so this is one of the best things I ever purchased. Its light weight, not tight at all and best of I can actually breath lol

Overpriced & Doesn’t Work
I’m posting this review to help other women before they shell out $84.I bought this because I thought getting the name brand “Spanx” would be just as good as the other brands. Newsflash, it’s not. The back wrinkles up so much you can see it through a tight fitting shirt. And the front just covers your stomach instead of blending it through like bodysuits should. I made a cheaper one with the bottom ones that roll down and sewed it to my bra for half the price and that one makes my stomach look FLAT.For those of you saying, “but it’s not suppose to make your stomach flat” YES IT IS! That’s the whole purpose of Spanx! To smooth and blend your curves and edges!! And for $84???? This company has just stolen my paycheck for that amount.I’m 5’7, 155 lbs and got the medium as the chart suggest. It was pretty manageable putting it on. The results are not what anyone should expect or pay for.Go to Walmart to get better Spanx or make your own this is not worth it!!
