I have migraines. Maybe that is because I have three children. I find that ice packs come in handy with a variety of things that happen around our house, including my migraines. We like the three different sizes. I find the middle size works best for my migraines. My son and youngest daughter have used the larger size multiple times for sprained ankles and bruises from sports. My oldest daughter says the small one is good for her complexion, but I don't even know what to say to that. I had tried the ice packs that go in the freezer, but then I got tired of them taking up space in the freezer, not being frozen when I needed one, or not staying cold for very long. Then I started to look into these. Pretty simple, just stick ice cubes in them. (Please note: We have not used them for hot or warm packs. Just haven't had the need, so this is only about them as cold packs.) I started looking into these and found that there are cheap ice packs that leak, sweat, or start to smell after awhile. We have been very happy with the quality of these. We have not had any of these issues other than sweating when it was really humid and my son used it when he was outside. They can be used directly on the skin, but I recommend putting a towel on the area then the ice pack. The biggest issue is that they disappear into the children's rooms on a regular basis. So we now have two sets of these.

This was a life changing purchase! This bag. Is perfect for icing everything except perhaps your back if you need to lie on it. If you’re lying on your stomach, it would still be perfect. I believe I got the large one, which holds a good amount of ice and water and drapes nicely over my knee, ankle, thigh.. I also place it upside down under my knee with a pillow under it. The mouth secures properly and is big enough for icemaker ice cubes. Ice cubes from trays might have to be pushed in individually.

9 inches is small for these bags. I didn't realize how small 9 inches was. I would have ordered the largest size if I knew. When filled with ice, this 9 incher will cover the top of your head, corner of your shoulder, just the kneecap and most of one side of your foot. The opening to put ice in is just enough for cubed or crescent ice from the fridge but my craft ice balls are just too big. I have to rinse those down just a bit to get them to fit but bigger ice lasts longer in this bag. There is barely any condensation on the outside so just set it down on a towel when you're not using it and it should be fine. The material is soft and flexible so its easy on the skin and conforms to whatever you need it to. The cold transfers quickly to the outside surface so you can get relief fast. Some reviews say it leaks but so far mine has been great. Would definitely buy again if it does.

Got a vasectomy and I got this so I added a cup of rubbing alcohol and a cup of water to it then popped it in the freezer. After a couple hours it have the texture of a slushy. Placed that on my balls and it confirms so well compared to a regular ice pack!

One of the best things I bought before my knee replacement surgery! I used it every day for nearly 2 months. Started with the large one and as the swelling went down I was able to “downsize “ . The 3 different sizes really made a difference. So easy to use too. Because of the materials used, I found them to be extremely flexible and really did ease my pain and swelling very comfortably. Would recommend to anyone having surgery or for the younger generation it would be great after sports!

Nice 3 pack of ice bags. I like the cooling effect of these bags better than that of gel packs. The ice cubes that are placed in the bag last for days with multiple uses. Not sure how the ice is well insulated, yet the cooling transfers very effectively to the skin/joint. Since getting these have switched from using frozen gel packs to these bags. Loved them for vacation travel since it was easy to get ice when carrying gel packs was not practical due to TSA security requirements and it was always easy to get ice on a cruise or in a hotel.

I needed an new ice bag since my old light blue one was leaking from the top. This one has a very secure, screw-on lid that doesn't leak, which is great, but the coolest thing about this one (no pun intended) is that it doesn't "sweat!" There's no water condensing on the outside like my other ice bag. The water and ice stay inside the bag, and the bag itself is cold, but not wet on the outside. Excellent product, and I highly recommend. Stays ice cold for hours, no sweat!

It's a simple ice pack that works well for areas about the size of a grown man's foot. Stays cold for about an hour which ie enough. Maybe should have purchased 2 for longer hours.
