CL-202S Rechargable Hearing Amplifier Digital Sound for adults and seniors

I ordered this for my hard of hearing husband. He was always asking me what did you say, played the radio in car and tv in home at an unbearable level. His ENT doctor told him that hearing aids would not work as he had surgery on one ear and nothing but the surgically implanted might work but no guarantee. I ordered this as if it did not work, we would not have blown $5,000 to $10,000 only to find it didn't work. I like that this charges like a cell phone. He immediately put it on this past weekend and went to church, rest home (where residents don't speak very loud) restaurants and movie. Already he has cut the radio and tv down. He is well pleased, set it at the low level and even had to turn it down at one point. Has had no trouble getting used to it. Says there is no awful background noise like the hearing aids he got 10 years ago. He is a salesman and when he went to work today, he said he never had to ask a customer to repeat an order. He is now telling me that I should lower my voice as I got used to screaming at him for him to hear. We only ordered one but might order another. He had me order one for a friend that just got $3,000 hearing aids and is not pleased. Hope they work as well for him but it not, he certainly hasn't blown another $3,000. He

My father was BEYOND reluctant to even consider wearing a hearing aid. Hence the reason for purchasing the least expensive. When he wore it and turned it on, he was amazed at what he was missing out on and was more than happy! However, within two hours a continual beeping began and it became annoying; the battery said it would last for 8 hours; so we're trying to figure out why this beeping would even begin, muchless continue. I rated high because he can wear it; but just needs to shut it off so the beeping doesn't begin. ANY SUGGESTIONS would be MORE than appreciated!!!

While the device worked really well and the rechargeable feature is amazing, the charging port for this device is garbage. The first one, the charging port was pushed it to where the device couldn't be charged. The return window had closed so I just bought another one thinking it was just *fingers crossed* defective. Second one has done the exact same thing; the charging port got pushed in so now it can't be used. It wasn't user error and excess force was not used when plugging it in (which already needs a bit just to plug it in to charge). While the price is greatly appreciated, it isn't worth it when the device breaks every few months.

Yes, thank you, I have received them. I have only opened one of them as I wished to see how one would work before destroying the packaging on the second one. I have tried other hearing aids before. It definitely does amplify sound, but I find it uncomfortable. That may be peculiar to the way my ears are formed because I also find ear buds uncomfortable and do not use them. Since your product is much cheaper than others I will keep the one, but I'm considering sending the second one back.

As soon as I put it on, I could hear things I could not hear before. Like myself walking, a door hinge creaking, the fan in my laptop PC. Obviously, I could also hear people speaking to me far more clearly than before. The rechargeable battery is a gem- just plug it in overnight and you never have to buy batteries. Ever.The only thing you are missing from custom hearing aids is a tailored sound profile to match your hearing loss profile, something like an equalizer. Also, you are missing a sound leveler to keep really loud sounds from being amplified. For the price of this unit, I can live with that nicely and pocket a thousand dollars or two.This is a good unit, and it does its job well. It is very sensitive too. I get all the amplification I need on practically its lowest setting.

I purchased these as a possible backup if my regular aids went down. I really did not use them enough to give a fair rating on volume control. They sounded ok but more harsh than my old hearing aids. They are too bulky for me & the tube is a little short to comfortably reach to fit in my ears. The tube is not flexible enough.

I have purchased many hearing amplifiers for my father in the past years. Many of them only worked for a few days but one of them exploded after a month of use. (see picture attached). Another pair would not turn on and the seller replaced it and the replacements didn’t work either.One worked for a little while but my dad did not like the sound quality. One of my dad’s friends who had ordered the Clearon one said his had worked for over 2 years and he really liked the quality and sound. He sent me a picture of it and I was able to find it on Amazon. I ended up purchasing it for my dad and purchased a Clearon Bluetooth Bike Speaker for myself. It has been two months and he is very happy with this hearing amplifier. Clearon was the best he had used he said.The speaker is also very good. I will update if I have any issues.

With this hearing aid I can hear an ant crawling across a cotton ball. My first hearing aid died and the company quickly replaced it with a new one. Can't beat that
