As ever, OPRO are the go-to for gumshields. I’ve used them for probably 15yrs now ever since I lost one I had one fitted by a dentist and have never looked back. It might be that the technology has gotten better for home-fitting in that time (I’m talking a while back for the dentist fit) but I’ve only had to replace my OPRO twice in that time and they’ve both been excellent and long-lasting. The reason I had opted for a dental fit the first time was being born with a cleft palate and having a couple of out-of-line teeth, but the OPRO has accommodated them fine.Main sport was field hockey for the longest while but boxing the last nine years. Brilliant for both (especially being able to speak and actually be heard in hockey). This is my first gold version as a step-up from silver and on first experience is worth the upgrade - closer fit and feel and slightly easier breathing.Worth mentioning that at 5’9” and 67kg fighting weight (and a slightly small head), I fit the youth size perfectly. I know it states “up to 10yrs” but I wouldn’t say I’m tiny, so worth bearing in mind size-wise.

So easy to mould, helpful video for my 8 year old son to watch amend understand what he needs to do. Fits great and doesn't fall out when he opens his mouth.

Okay this is a decent looking and well fitting comfortable mouth guard, my son has no issues with this playing rugby. However the process of moulding it involves putting it in boiling water and then into their mouth after only 10 seconds!!!! So its far too hot and when its cool enough you can't mould it against the teeth properly.

This gum guard out the box is great.Most gum guards say custom fit and they never truly fit, this one actually does fit. I actually have small teeth and gums and I find it near impossibly to get a gum guard to fit and this one does. Haven't had a chance to use it but the feel and quality is great.I want to address alot of the negative comments. You HAVE to wash your gum guard otherwise it will fall apart quicker.You have to boil it and actually mould it. One negative comment you can see it hasn't been moulded properly.This product is great and at £20 you can replace them every couple of months for hygiene and safety.Dental gum guards are £100+ these are £20...find a better fitting/quality gum guard and I will wait.But yeah morale of the story, read the instructions and keep them clean and you will be all good. If it's good enough for a professional rugby team and fighters, it's good enough for anyone.Can not state how great this product is and at that price range. Over the moon!

Bought many times for 4 teens who play rugby and hockey. Easy to mould, good size and stay put during matches. Really good quality and nice designs and colour to suit. Great protection, recommend

Got this for my son to replace a dentist's custom moulded mouthgard which no longer fits as his teeth have moved as he grows. He was really impressed with it and said he didn't know if he'd need/want another custom moulded once his teeth have stopped moving as this one was really comfy and fitted well. I think that is going to depend on the size of your jaw etc and whether the mouthguard is a good size/fit for you generally.

Just too chunky and restrictive to breathe through for me. Seems like good quality, but just can't use it practically

It's an easy to mould mouth guard, which is also pretty comfortable to wear. I previously had another brand and changed to this one and have been very impressed. I like the choice of bright colours (being a winger in rugby!) while also offering good protection.It comes with a frame to help you fit the guard to your teeth which was also helpful. The size is perfect for me and felt a little more slimline than my previous guard.I've taken a couple of hits with it so far and I'd say it does the job well.
