low quality brass parts.
Brass fitting on the top where you connect a brass threaded fitting cracked when tightening and flooded out my kitchen. This product failed due to poor quality of metal parts. I would not recommend this product as it failed to perform without flaws in construction and materials used.

Pretty nice, but the pressure relief is... not
The good: brass thread inserts are great, all of the plastic is solid, wrench seems sturdy enough, the clear sump threads go inside the cap instead of outside, which should offer better support and reduced risk of failure. Clear sumps have a reputation for breaking and these just might last longer because of that design decision. The bad: the pressure relief "button" is not a button, nor is it usable for pressure relief. It's a small screw with tiny threads directly threaded into the plastic of the cap. If this filter was mounted with anything overhead (like a bracket), it would be nearly impossible to relieve pressure with this. I took one out, put it back in, and when trying to gently snug it, the plastic instantly stripped. I used a screw with more aggressive threads to hold the o-ring on that housing. Luckily, my system already has a pressure relief and I didn't need the pressure relief function to work.If you don't need pressure relief and are tying into 3/4" pipes, these look excellent. If you do need pressure relief, look elsewhere.

Does not impede flow
Using 2 of these in line the existing water filter on my RV. At first it seemed that I was getting very poor flow through the new filters. Turned out to be a bad check valve on a quick connect I had installed. Swapped out that QC and everything is fine. Cannisters I added have 20 and 5 micron filters, existing filter in the RV has a 1 micron carbon filter. At 45psi, everything inthe camper works peachy.

Perfect for RV/Camper/Trailer 3-stage filter system
Purchased to create my own DIY 3-stage filter system for our travel trailer. Worked great. I like the clear housing so you can see when the filters are ready for change.

Ring gasket only seats by chance.
There is no groove or anything to keep ring gasket in place in the housing. You just place the gasket on top of vessel and hope it seats. Inside is open, so it could pinch or seat like an oval. On the third ring gasket to get it to seat. It's for a watermaker on the product side which is gravity flow to watertanks. Low pressure. I am now in Bahamas and can't return it. Look at other manuf for better engineering.
