It had been years since I had showered in a tub, but when my walk-in shower developed a leak, I had to switch bathrooms until repairs could be made. That first tub shower made me nervous; I hadn't remembered how slick a wet tub was, and my balance isn't what it used to be.So, I looked around Amazon and bought this.Seriously, one of the best purchases I've ever made. The mat is thick, cushion-y, comfortable to stand on, and absolutely nonskid, wet or dry. The suction cups on the underside are super sturdy and stick tightly to the tub, so the mat itself doesn't budge an inch once you've put it down. I no longer have to worry about slipping at all--not when I'm bending or leaning or turning, and not when I'm stepping in or out of the tub.Pulling the mat back up is easy and weirdly satisfying, like popping bubble wrap. (Not a reason to purchase, obviously, but a bonus?) After months of heavy use, the mat still shows no wear.I'm now so confident of my footing I can close my eyes while shampooing, a thing I rarely did in my walk-in shower, which has a rougher surface than the tub.Huge props and thanks to the company.

I just took a shower and was reminded again what a good purchase this was. My tub used to be SLIPPERY. I never realized how much of a concern it was for me until I got this mat. I’m able to take showers and not worry about accidentally falling.One thing that I was concerned about was mold/mildew and how that could make even the best mat just as slippery. To prevent that: Right before I get out of the shower, I do a quick rinse of the mat and then once I get out, I leave it to air dry on the side of the tub (with the suction side facing out). I’ve had it about a year and so far it’s like new. Both the tub and the mat stay clean because water doesn’t get trapped underneath it. Having a dry mat and a dry tub also helps the suction.

I purchased a Gorilla mat for the tub and it's great. Recently, I purchased some shaggy bathroom rugs which moved dangerously when walking on them from the shower. I experimented and placed the Gorilla mat under one of the rugs; it adhered to the floor tiles and the rug stayed put after placing it on top of the mat. For this reason, I just purchased 2 more Gorilla mats, trimmed them a little for shorter length, and the new area rugs are not budging at all.Thank you Gorilla mat for performing as a non-skid pad for my bathroom rugs.

I bought turquoise because I thought it was the closest I could get to darker green. It’s blue. It’s straight up blue. Mint might have been better, but it’s blue. It does stick well, but it has to be a completely smooth surface. My shower has a slight texture on the floor that seems to serve no purpose, but also will not allow a bath mat to stick. Thankfully, the mat is textured enough that it does not slide on the shower floor even though the suction cups won’t stick. Hopefully it will still work when wet. (Bought it to bath my large dog with joint issues, but haven’t gotten to that point yet.)

My son told me the guest shower/tub was very slippery when he used the body wash I put in there. I'm not usually a big fan of mats because they get moldy and are rough on my feet, but I didn't want anyone to get hurt so I ordered this shower mat. It arrived the next morning, fit perfectly in my tub, and feels soft and cushiony to stand on. More importantly, it feels very secure. I rinse it about once a week and let it dry, so far there is no sign of mold or soap scum.

This bath mat is pretty much perfect in every way. Over the years I've probably bought a dozen different brands of bath mats, and had settled on the Clorox brand one for a while, but after the third replacement due to mold/discoloration, I decided to give this one a shot, and it blows everything else out of the water.It has great coverage of the bath floor, so you aren't left with too much room where it doesn't cover. It isn't particularly grippy, but it has plenty enough that I feel secure in my footing even when on one foot. It also doesn't hold hair like all the other ones, both in the top and in the suction cups, and water drains away very easily. And the material doesn't seem to stain at all, since after a wash it looks just like new. Mold is also not much of a concern because it doesn't stick to the material and any scum that builds up washes away very easily. Throwing it in the laundry is an easy way to clean it too, and that doesn't seem to have damaged the mat in any way. The item is pretty well depicted in the pictures, so what you see is what you get. I don't care much about how a bath mat looks, but I got the clear and it blends in well with my tub.Overall this is an excellent bath mat, and while it's a bit more expensive than other cheaper options, it doesn't need to be replaced as often so it seems to be better value in the long run.

This is by far my favorite tub mat! I have purchased this exact one several times because I love it so much. The grip strength is superior to others, and I have never had any issues with it coming loose. I also love that it can be washed as needed, but when I notice a little grime building up, I sometimes just rinse it directly under water in between washes. You can’t beat the price either! Highly recommend, especially if you have little ones.

This was heavy duty, I didn't need it, and I sent it back to Amazon. It was unwrapped. By Amazon instructions, I put it into a box, and mailed it back. Amazon is very good to provide free return shipping.
