Amazon Basics 20-Pack AA Alkaline High-Performance Batteries: Power Up, No Drama
Let’s talk about these Amazon Basics 20-Pack AA Alkaline High-Performance Batteries—the unsung heroes of the household. These batteries are like the dependable friend who always shows up on time, doesn’t complain, and somehow manages to keep everything running smoothly.First off, the performance. These bad boys last long enough to make sure your remote control is still working when you really need to change the channel during an intense Netflix session. Or your flashlight is there for you when the lights go out in the middle of a storm (and you’re 100% sure you could survive a horror movie because of these batteries). The pack size? 20 batteries. That’s 20 opportunities to stock up and be the hero in your home when the toys, remotes, or devices inevitably run out of juice. You’ll be ready to face the apocalypse—at least on the battery front. And the price? It’s so reasonable, you’ll feel like you’re stealing, but in a legal, non-jailworthy way. You can’t beat the value of these trusty little powerhouses. In conclusion, the Amazon Basics AA Batteries are the dependable, no-nonsense power source you never knew you needed. They’ll keep your gadgets running like a dream, so you can spend less time worrying about “battery low” warnings and more time enjoying life. Plus, they come in a 20-pack, so you can probably power a small country at this point.

Well packaged
Bought the 100 pack of both AA and AAAThe package was all secure and all the boxes were secure and in good order. I visually checked all the batteries for any leakages but found none. The batteries were usefully plastic wrapped into groups of 5. ( save having to open a pack of ten for 1 battery.)Im sure these will perform well enough. You get what you pay for and £40 for 200 batteries is a good way to buy

Cheap alternative
If you're looking for a budget-friendly option for your low-drain devices, these cheap AAA batteries are a decent pick. They definitely don’t last as long as premium brands like Duracell, especially in high-usage gadgets, but they serve their purpose in a pinch. Ideal for TV remotes, clocks, or emergency use — just don't expect top-tier performance. For the price, they’re a good backup to have around the house.

Good Value for Money AA Batteries
Good value for money AA batteries - I've had these in storage now for about 6 months and when I tested them on the volt meter, they were all still over 1.6v each, which is re-assuring. During use they are durable and have a good battery life, at least comparable to other well known brands.

Very good value strong long lasting batterys
Second re-order of AA and AAA batteries - long life - and really good for the price. Much better than the cheap packs you get in the pound shops which last a few hours. These are really decent and well packaged - our household Goto for battery needs and we eat through a lot of batteries in a year.

Best value batteries on the market in my opinion.
Not all batteries are created equal and with so many choices out there its difficult to choose the best option. I've been using these for a couple of years now and have been perfectly happy with their performance. They are alkaline based batteries which make them a pretty good, standard battery and suitable for 90% of applications. Remote controls, clocks, cameras, radios will all run fine on these and will last fine. It's great to have a bulk store of batteries at such an affordable price. I now have a drawer stocked with batteries and not a jumbled up collection, of different brands missed with part-used batteries. I restock when I start to get low and I'm never caught short. As I said, these will do for 90% of applications but if you do need more power for a particularly high drain device then look for lithium-based batteries, they will outperform these amazon basics but expect to pay a lot more. It would be nice to see Amazon basics add lithium batteries to there current offerings for such occasions. If you found this review helpful, please hit the 'Helpful' button to let me know that writing these reviews is worthwhile.

Basic batteries did not last long
Bought these to try but compared to Duracell they didn’t last anywhere near as long (used for a Hive thermostat).Maybe they work better when less battery power is required.
