Great for adding that little bit extra padding to stop your butt going numb on longer rides. I think they were a fair price fit as expected and good quality.

It seems that the general area around my sit bones is only good for 2 hours, which is a nuisance when the trip extends to a 4-5 hour ride! I bought a gel saddle cover, some saddle balm and also a pair of these shorts and the comfort levels have improved significantlyThese shorts really are short, so I wear them under other cycling shorts or bib tights. What I would add is that when new they have good padding but its resiliance seems to fade a bit with washing. The parts that support the sit bones are quite squishy, but the padding around the other areas is now thinning out. However good price/performance on this garment.

I'm new to road bikes, went out on my first journey in regular sports shorts - excuse the pun... but what a pain in the arse. The next day it was too sore to ride the same distance therefore I started shopping online at cycling stores and amazon for padded shorts. I'm pretty meticulous on looking around reviews etc for each product I buy. These were heavily reviewed, and for good reason! They are brilliant. Fantastic quality. I'm not into all the lycra stuff, personal preference, so I wear them under my normal sports shorts - you wouldn't even know they are on, therefore you can happily get off your bike and walk around cafes etc without any bother or people thinking you've soiled yourself.I saw mixed reviews on the sizing. I ordered a medium, I'm 5ft 9in with normally a 30-32 inch waist, these fit perfectly and are certainly not larger or looser fitting as some reviews mention, they are tight round the leg and perfectly suited to the waist.No more sore bum after a few 4+ hour rides. Padding is brilliant, can now ride for hours with no pain at all - there is a good amount of padding but you soon forget its there when riding. Also they're great when sitting on benches or solid surfaces as it feels like your on a cushion.All in all brilliant purchase. A must if you plan on road biking.

Excellent purchase and a much needed comfort improvement on my last pair. The padding is exactly where needed for longer rides. They fit very well and given the low price point excelling value.However, they could be slightly longer. With their length another pair of shorts is definitely needed over the top.

Excellent fit. Very comfortable to wear under everyday clothing. Makes cycling a pleasure when you can't be bothered getting on the whole "lycra look."
