HG Mould Spray, Effective Black Mould & Mildew Cleaner, Removes Stains – 500ml

I've been battling some stubborn mould and mildew on my bathroom tile grout for a while, and nothing I tried seemed to work. This HG Mould Spray was recommended to me, and it has been a complete miracle worker.The functionality is brilliant. It not only kills the mould but it also completely removes the ugly black stains and marks. It's so powerful and effective. The ease of use is fantastic; you just spray it on, leave it for a few minutes, and wipe it off. There was barely any scrubbing required.You can tell this is a good quality product. The results are long-lasting and it has completely restored my bathroom tiles. The 500ml size is also a great good value; I was able to tackle my whole bathroom and still have plenty left over. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is dealing with mould or mildew in their home!

Let me set the scene: my shower ceiling looked like it was hosting a black mold renaissance. I half expected to hear Gregorian chants every time I stepped in. The mildew had claimed the tiles as its homeland. I considered just moving out and letting it keep the place.Enter: HG Mould Spray, also known as “the stuff that made my bathroom stop looking like a horror film set.”With one heroic spray (okay, eight or nine if I’m honest), the mold hissed, recoiled, and vanished like a vampire at sunrise. This stuff doesn’t mess around—it’s like bleach had a baby with a flamethrower and sent it to cleaning school.Pros:✅ Obliterates mold like it's got a personal vendetta✅ Works fast—you’ll see results before you can say “fungus be gone”✅ Satisfying enough to make you want to clean on purposeCons:⚠️ Smells like it could melt a nostril or two. Open a window unless you want to experience chemical enlightenment.⚠️ May cause overconfidence. I tried to spray it on my tax documents. Did not help.Final Verdict:If you’ve got mold, mildew, or a bathroom that looks like a haunted house, HG Mould Spray is your new best friend. Just don’t inhale deeply or grow too attached to the grout—it’s about to have a personality change.10/10, would wage chemical war on mold again.

Having tried many, many mould sprays this is the only one that is really highly effective.I’ve used the spray on silicone sealant that I expected would require expensive replacement as dark black mould spots were present, but just a couple of applications and the mould disappeared altogether.Very deep, dark & large areas of mould which has penetrated throughout the sealant may not disappear or several applications, but will fade significantly.In addition to bathroom & kitchen sealant, I use it on discoloured grout, backs of furniture (with care not to soak, having tested an area first & not expensive/varnished items), window frames & seals, skirting boards, and bathroom/shower walls & ceilings (I don’t think it’s recommended for painted surfaces, but as no scrubbing is required it’s been absolutely fine on white emulsion-painted areas in my experience). Wherever possible I spray the area generously and leave overnight. Very deep/dark/large areas may require a second or even third application.It does have a strong chemical odour similar to strong bleach and care must be taken to protect from breathing in, spraying near eyes - especially ceilings, etc but taking common sense precautions is all that’s required e.g mask, goggles (a must if spraying at higher levels) and always ventilate the room by opening a window.I work in property management and attend many properties with condensation mould (20+ per year). This has been fantastic for dealing with mould issues quickly and easily.We also use this routinely for cleaning bathrooms (grout, sealant & ceilings) between tenancies as it saves so much time and expense as opposed to scrubbing grout with bleach and a toothbrush or worse still to remove and reapply sealant around baths, showers, basins, etc.In my own home I used to have the sealant replaced in the shower every 12-18 months. Since using this, it looks like new and keeps fresh for several years. Keeping on top of mould spots and spraying as they arise prevents the requirement for multiple applications, results are speedy and it makes one bottle last forever!I’ve only dropped one star as the product takes several hours to do its magic so further application(s) (and property visits in the case of work) might be required. The odour is significant when working with large areas of mould…but, I’m just being strict in case people are highly sensitive to the strong chemical odour or expect one squirt to perform miracles within seconds. The safety catch above the trigger is a bit fiddly but an essential safety feature for child-safety and accidents. The internal tube now needs inserting prior to first use, which again is fiddly, but a good feature to prevent the tube being damaged by the chemical if it’s left to sit in the bottle for a long time before use - as has happened in the past.These are just my own personal experiences and opinions. This is the best mould spray! I have tried so many on our grout in our bathroom and this one works so well, it gets rid of the mould after a few minutes and dosent require scrubbing afterwards (unlike other brands). It has saved me so much time when cleaning!

I bought this HG Mould Spray after trying a few weaker alternatives that barely touched the mould creeping along the silicone in my bathroom. I didn’t have high hopes at first, but I was genuinely impressed – it worked fast and needed hardly any effort.The instructions were straightforward. I sprayed it directly onto the affected areas, left it for about 20 minutes, and then rinsed it off. The results were almost instant. The black mould stains around the bath sealant and along the bottom edge of the tiled wall disappeared like magic. No need for scrubbing at all, which is a huge plus.The smell is quite strong – a bit like a concentrated bleach scent – so I’d definitely recommend keeping the window open while using it.I also wore gloves, just to be on the safe side. It’s not something I’d want to breathe in for long, but the effectiveness more than makes up for it.One 500ml bottle goes a surprisingly long way too. I used it in two bathrooms and still had plenty left for future touch-ups. It clings well to vertical surfaces without running off, so nothing gets wasted.Only minor downside is the strong odour, but for the results you get, it’s a small price to pay. I’d say this is now a must-have under the kitchen sink for any home where damp or mould is an issue.Hope that gives you a clearer idea
