These model 45 candle wicks are 8-inches long and initially said they were 2.4" to 3" wide candles. The description now says 2.36" to 2.75". I am using them mostly with paraffin wax up to about 3" in diameter and haven't noticed any problems yet with burning. The 8" was too long for a few candles I was making but they are easily cut to the length you need. Better to be too long than too short. This is a large amount of 100-pieces that will take me a while to personally go through. They are decently pre-coated in wax. Including the centering devices and stickers is a nice touch/bonus to the wicks. I am happy with these cotton wicks.

Ordered this solely based on price. Straight to the point 12 cents per wick? Totally no brainer. The wax covered cotton wicks with larger metal bases work very well and burn clean. I really did like the included 5 metal wick centering plates, nice addition to my permanent candle making toolkit. Even though I'm a seasoned candle crafter, I think instructions should have been included for the novice. Something that other companies get consistently wrong is not having the matching amount of base stickers, rather silly I think. This kit thankfully gets it right. A good buy just for the wicks and tools.

After using them , they burned very hot and black soot everywhere. Not what I was expecting after a month of waiting for the order to be shipped. I guess I will gave to try a different kind of wicks

I am just getting into DIY candle making and wanted some quality wicks to get started with. I really liked that this set came with the stickers as well (even though I had already bought some) and the handy tool to keep the wicks centered which I didn't even realize I would need. The wicks are nice and thick, and definitely have a wax coated feeling. This is just what I needed to get started.

I am new to candle making and I did some candles in small containers and when I moved to larger containers the wicks I had did not have enough juice to burn the candle smoothly in the edges of the container, creating a tunnel. This wick solved my problem, as I am using now a 2.5" diameter container (from 2" before). I use soy wax. Nice touch to add the wick centering metal device, although I already had some, but it is always useful. And the stickers are fundamental to fix the wick at the bottom of the container. I recommend the product and the seller.

I’m a home made candle crafter. This little set is great to get you started. The wicks are nice, the guides are strong metal. The only problem I had was getting the wick holders to stay stuck but it’s not really a problem.
