Such Fun for scratch DJs! And good "budget" controller.
This is hardly a "budget" controller in the sense that you can get $150 little controllers that have jogwheels and all the buttons and knobs you need. But there is nothing like a spinning vinyl platter for a scratch DJ. The other dual spinning platters on the market are in the $2000 range. So compared to those this is indeed the "budget" model. It has all of the essentials and then some. It's got a beat match guide, with lights that help you master beat matching. Which is perfect for beginners. It has the 8 performance pads per deck, meaning 16. And each 8 has 8 different modes. Some of them you can program in your software.Speaking of software. That's what outputs all of the sound, effects, and mixes you do. This is just a controller. I highly advise if you are serious about getting into DJing even for a hobby. To watch some videos about different DJ software out there. Serato Pro, DJay Pro, Virtual DJ, and Rekordbox are among the top popular. I chose Virtual DJ myself. To get good performance. You need a PC or laptop with atleast a good i5/ryzen5 or i7/ryzen 7. And I would suggest 16gb of ram.To use "stems" which is an amazing tech that can separate the voice from the base, strings, and basically all of the individual elements. This allows you to do amazing things like rip acappelas straight from any song. Back in the day DJ's would have to buy separate acapella versions of the same song. And you can blend different sounds from different tracks together for amazing new mixes. I personally like to rip voice out of songs to use as scratch samples. There are some other good jogwheel decks out there like the Pioneer Rev1 but this is about the most affordable (and nice quality) deck controller that has dual moving vinyl platters. And the thing I like most is this looks like an old school 80s battle DJ deck. Just miniature size. It's got a sick look. And I dig it.

Buyers beware.. Bought New. Received a very damaged and used box. Controller shows signs of use and tampering. Bummer, we buy new for a reason.

Mighty Hercules Inpulse T7!
I’ve had it since january 2024… it’s been awesome! I will say that if you don’t have a new-ish laptop it’s most likely not going to work well for you. I upgraded a year ago to a 2021 macbook pro from a 2014!Most of the bad reviews i’m seeing are OLD laptops that don’t have up-to-date iOS, and probably lacking the drivers for this controller.Do the homework before you go buying new DJ hardware… it’s a great controller for THIS price. It’s not as beefy as the Rane One but you have to pay twice the $$ for all that.My only complaints; is the volume in the headphone cue isn’t great, and if your laptop isn’t powered while its plugged in— the whole controller turns off, so if you to want to power it on it’s own and use the microphone you couldn’t, it won’t light up and power until it’s plugged into the laptop, so I probably wouldn’t recommend for DJing a wedding…also only has 1 USB plugin so only 1 laptop can use it unlike the Rane One, kinda a bummer if you want to dj with a friend that is just learning… Nice controller otherwise!

Take your sets to the next level
So I'm still fairly new to DJing. I've been serious about it for less than a year, but I saw this and couldn't pass it up. Obviously the star of the show is the motorized platters. They just make you look like a more seasoned DJ. There is a slight delay at started. I get around that by using the cue buttons to get the music started and then activate the platter. The next big advantage (for me at least) the the dedicated "instrumental" and "vocal" buttons for Stems. Being able to toggle these with the push of a button have absolutely allowed me to easier mix/blend songs in different ways.On the flip side it has, rarely, just stopped outputting sound for no apparent reason. I was only practicing so it's never happened during a performance but yikes, what if it did?! Also, I don't know if this is a symptom of the controller or the software (Segrato Pro) but sometimes the tempo won't stay set where u put it after u adjust the slider. You can't "set it and forget it". When you are testing the mix in your headphones you'd better check that the upcoming BPM stays where you put it and make adjustments if needed.Anyway, I have 4 controllers and this is the one that allows me the most functionality to unleash my creativity. Definitely recommend for newer DJs looking to take their craft to the next level but don't want to spend 4-figures yet.

Don't buy this trash
It turn off on its own but the turntables still move. I had a wedding and it didn't twice and at a bar I deejayed it. This unit was 799 when I first bought it in October and now it's way less. I wonder why! Pure trash. Save money and buy a pioneer!!!!
