Q: Will this work for unshielded 23 awg cat 6 cable (such as from monoprice)?

Yes indeed. You wont regret this purchase. I bought one for every technician! Fits most unshielded (any gauge) and even some shielded cabling.

Q: Will this work well on smaller bundles of cat6 cables, like 17 of them?

Yes. Depending on the thickness of the casing of your Cat6 (we had solid core MonoPrice Cat6 cable) it can be a bit hard to comb/detangle 48 wires. However, 17 would be fine because you are going to be able to use the bigger slats to comb with instead of the areas (of the comb) that only have room for 1 or 2 cables. The comb was amazing to use on a project where we pulled wires in new construction but were not ready to terminate them... so piles of wire being pushed back and forth to get them out of the way of contractors. Once we could get to terminating the cables it was just a rats nest... the comb allowed use to fairly easily dress them up (35+ wires) with about two passes. One pass to systematically detangle and unknot the wires and the second pass to actually velcro the bundles a bit tighter.

indispensable quand on fait du cablage réseau

je l'avais vu depuis longtemps mais très cher, cette fois je l'ai pris vu le prix, il a fait déjà son premier tronc de 25 câbles, c'est tranquille on fait le tronc de câble bien droit avec des serre câbles en scratch, je trouve ça plus esthétique que banale goulotte.
