really improved the picture on my webcam!
I use this with my ATEM Mini Pro iso as a 4th camera feed. I'm floored with how much better the picture is. I'm guessing this has to do with it converting the signal from mjpeg to yuv. The webcam is a Wyrestorm Focus 210. Picture is not that far off from my Sony A6000 mirrorless after adding the rightLUT. It worked right out of the box and I didn't even have to do a firmware update. It is a little pricey, but it does a fantastic job!

The TAO1 Tiny converters have to be re-booted each time!!!
I bought the RGBlink 4 input HDMI Switch...then I bought three (3) TAO 1 Tiny USB to HDMI converters needed for the three webcams I already had. I use a DVD player with HDMI for my fourth device/input. The TAO 1 Tiny is priced at $170.00 per converter...way over-priced but when you have no choice and you want something to work... Needless to say, the DVD player works great anytime...all the time. The 3 Webcams using the TAO1 Tiny converters have to be manually re-booted each and every time. Then there is no guarantee they will stay on. Who wants that? I don't. I will be sending ALL these items back. What a waste of time and frustration. My advice... buy Webcams with HMDI cabling already and don't buy these TAO1 Tiny converters. I have had enough plugging and un-plugging. Good Luck!!!

Works until it doesn’t
Used this in a workflow for an ATEM switcher. Started by upgrading the firmware without issue. The switcher was set to 1080p60 for a live event. It had latency and dropped frames. Otherwise, it worked reasonably well. About 6hr into the event I was notified venue video was offline. The device was cool to the touch and didn’t appear to be working. A quick power restart put everything back online until the end of the event. I’ll be looking at a streaming bridge for the next event.

Incompatible with Logitech PTZ Pro 2. Fickle with other cameras.
Bought this with hopes of using it to connect a Logitech PTZ Pro 2 to an ATEM Mini Pro ISO. After updating the firmware on the TAO, I got it to sporadically connect with a Logitech C920 webcam, but no such luck with the PTZ Pro 2. Very disappointing.

Simple device to convert UVC webcam output to HDMI
This simple little device does one thing and does it reasonably well. It converts output from a UVC webcam into HDMI ready footage. Setup and use is extremely simple--just plug the webcam in one in with a USB-C cable and plug an HDMI cable in the other end for the output. That's it. Recommended!

Very interesting device
This adapter absolutely does exactly what it says on the metaphorical tin; it converts UVC camera signals to HDMI. I have a number of webcams and camera modules - over a dozen - and they all work flawlessly with this. The use cases are obviously limited; I can think of very few devices outside of monitors and tvs that can't directly connect to a USB camera but can ingest HDMI - but for those situations, this does the job very well, and I appreciate it for that.

great for adding a webcam to a video switcher
I use this to add my webcam to my Atem mini. I have a webcam on an overhead rig and use this to convert it to HDMI for my atem mini pro to grab. This has allowed my to stop using OBS as I can do everything right in the Atem Mini Pro instead. Device is easy to use and has worked easily every time I turn stuff on.
