A very functional device with some pleasant features.
The media could not be loaded. These types of tools are invaluable around the house. I had one previous and that starting playing up so I went for this Kaiweets model. I think their goods are pretty decent for the price, and sit between the cheap and premium quality in general. After a few months, I can say the tool works quite well and provides a serious DIYer electrician a few more features than your basic NC Pen.Build quality seems pretty robust. The outer plastic is hard and solid and I feel it may take a drop or two but obviously don’t just throw it in a toolbox. Store it in its own box until needed. It’s a safety device after all. The sound and light alerts are absolutely clear and will get your attention, and others around you too. The sensitivity settings as well as the varying frequencies of the sounds and lights help provide more context to the nature of the current. The built-in light is an extremely thoughtful and useful design feature. With one button you can illuminate a dark space under the floorboard as you test for breaks in a wire. I love that it does auto shut off in 5 minutes as I’ve noticed I’ve forgotten to turn it off manually a few times. Batteries are included in the pack which means you can starting using the device immediately.Overall an excellent tool for a reasonable cost, with a very confident 36 month warranty so definitely worth an investment.

Essential tool for all diy electrical jobs
Electricity is dangerous, vert easy to use this tool helps make sure you are working safely when used in accordance with the instructions provided. Confirm working by testing a known live source etc etc.Good value for money, well made tool. I wouldn't be without it now.

AC Voltage detector
Works as described for straight forward testing of voltage in electrical cables

Batteries included and works straight from the box.
Deliver on time, well=packed, it has worked very well so far, detecting the flow in various situations, including underground, in trees (for hidden cameras) and in the workshop. Two batteries required were supplied (insert the positive terminal of the new battery towards the tip of the instrument) and it worked straight from the box. One page of instructions are fairly helpful, e.g drawings, diagrams and pictures, although the instrument is intuitive.Recommended.

Worthwhile purchase.
Seems to have a good variety of functions and works very well so a useful electrical tester to have around.

Neat, handy, useful
I'd put off a load of different electrical jobs before realising this was going to be worthwhile. I've used it to install 2 outside lights and re-position an existing garage light. This tester let me know which cables were live, by both sight and sound. It let me change switch boxes safely and overall up my wiring game!

Works ok but not a patch on a decent make like fluke etc
Bought this after my old fluke stick fell apart after a decade of use and even then just got it as a quick and dirty indicator to throw in a toolbox. Didn't find it particularly sensitive to use with the business end needing to be orientated a bit fussily before it would indicate reliably. I certainly wouldn't use it as an indicator that a circuit was off and ok to mess with (there are proper procedures for that). But as a quick and dirty indicator its 'ok' and a lot cheaper than a 'proper' decent one.
