Classy way to store snacks.
Just what I was looking for. Air tight seal. I use it for nuts, candy, pretzels etc.

Beautiful and fits some spaghetti brands/sizes, but not others...
After reading the reviews, I was torn as to whether to purchase this or not for my spaghetti. In reading them, I realized nobody seem to mention what brand spaghetti they used. I use Barilla thin spaghetti style pasta. As you can see from the picture they all fit perfectly fine in the jar. Even if they are pressed up against the glass vertically they still fit. After filling it up, I noticed that I had some angel hair pasta by Barilla as well. I tested that in there as well and and they ended up being exactly the same length as the thin spaghetti. However, at some point I had purchased another brand that I do not have the packaging for any longer and decided to test those out. They were definitely longer and if they were vertical it would not work out. That pasta is actually about a 1/4 of an inch taller! You can see the second picture for pasta and dimensions. The piece closest to the ruler is Barilla thin spaghetti and the other two pieces are from the other brand angel hair box. I hope this helps somebody else decide! Also, the jar itself is beautiful and seems very solid for a glass jar. I was very pleased with this little upgrade for my pantry.

Need a home for your new sourdough starter? You may have found it.
Like so many others in quarantine I jumped on the sourdough bandwagon. I started and nurtured a glorious, bubbly, living concoction that I suddenly felt surprisingly protective over. It’s a good thing my kids are grown and out of the house or they would have felt replaced by a bubbly, tangy sludge of hope and promise.Like so many other new sourdough parents, I also wanted a vessel worthy of my new culture baby. If you know ANYTHING about raising a starter, the vessel of choice for many is the elegant Weck canning jar. Once again, I was a beat behind everyone else, so like with N95 masks and TP, I soon learned that they are difficult to get without paying through the nose and waiting a month for shipping. My search for a substitute lead me to this product. After wayyyyy too much deliberation (it felt like a monumental decision. It was not), I settle on the medium size. I am happy to report that my fermented friend is now happily tucked away in it’s new glass home and quite happy. Assuming it is reasonably durable (time will tell), I’m quite happy with the size and look of the container. Judging by the pictures, my starter was pretty excited, too.

Six years going strong
I bought these jars in October 2018 according to my Amazon order history and they are still in amazing condition and working great! I keep flour, white sugar, brown sugar, and oatmeal in them. Just looked them up again to send the link to a friend who wanted them.

You know what assuming does…
I assumed that large was the largest canister in the set, so I bought two along with two medium sized. What I got was the second to largest (won’t fit spaghetti) and the second to smallest canisters. You can only get the largest pictured if you buy the whole set of different sizes. Great quality and I loved the bamboo, but going with a different manufacturer.

Functional and beautiful
I grow and dry a lot of culinary and medicinal herbs at home. I purchased these as an alternative to the mason jars that I had been using for years. My first set was beautiful and perfect straight out of the box, but I found that I wanted to put everything I owned into these gorgeous containers, so I bought a second set. When I received the second set, one of the containers had a small chip missing from the rim. I contacted the seller to see if I could exchange just the one container. Instead, I received an email saying that I deserved better and a box showed up shortly thereafter with a whole new set of containers in perfect shape. Really great customer service. I'll order this product again as soon as I find more stuff in my house to put in it.
