We paid a LOT in shipping for this, but wow was it worth it! I like to have red accents in my kitchen and after a lot of searching, we came across this bin. Assembly was easy; batteries aren't included but once installed, they last a really long time (we haven't had to replace it in a couple of months with many daily uses.) The motion detection is savvy and the lid moves smoothly and promptly. Cleaning this guy is very easy! We put off buying a trash bin for so long, but it's made our daily lives a little bit better in a way I'd have a hard time giving up now.

At first I could not get it to work and had planned to return it. So, I decided to buy a new pack of batteries. It works great!! I want to buy one for my best friend.

Love not having to use my hands to open. Would be a five star rating but after a few months it has started making an irritating noise when automatically closing.

Overall, i'm very satisfied with this purchase. I love the motion senor feature for opening the lid. However, I find that sometimes I have to pass my hand over the sensor a few times for the lid to open. Other than that, I would purchase this again and recommend it.
