This thing cuts, just like it’s supposed to!
I’ve been using whatever I can buy at Target or Walmart for years, usually Phillips and everyone I got was better than the last but not great. This one is different. The construction seems better, there is some weight to it so I feel like I don’t have to press as hard. Beyond all that, the cut is leaps and bounds better. Trimming my beard with the last trimmer I had took 5-10 passes, it didn’t matter how much I let my beard grow, it just didn’t cut well. The Wahl cut the majority in the first past and I had some cleanup on the second. We’ll see how things go, but the first cut I’m very happy with my purchase!!

Probably one of the BEST Facial Trimmers available!
Wahl is a well-recognized name in the barbering industry, and they now offer a professional grade trimmer unit for home use. It's well-designed, well-balanced, with easily changeable heads to handle just about any trimming situation...Beard, mustache, etc. The unit is a well thought out, waterproof, and heavy to ensure you have proper control when in-use. Attachments include a foil shaver head, nose trimmer head, and beard trimmer with a full complement of guides. I've got several "less than desirable" trimmers, and this is the 1st one that does it RIGHT! You get what you pay for and the Wahl Pro Trimmer is worth the price (which is not bad). It'll last appx 2 hrs on a charge, and can be easily cleaned w/ running water.

2 Attachment heads flew off & broke within 1 minute of use
I believe the design of this product is not good. I followed all instructions to tighten screw holding the attachment head and aligned properly with the part that makes the trimming attachments work, moving back and forth at high speeds, and the very first time I used it, within the first 1 minute of use, the trimmer attachment head flew off of the trimmer and dropped on the floor - and the screw was tightened and trimmer head attached and aligned properly. The trimmer head won't cut and pulls hair now.I tried the Foil trimming attachment head, again, I attached it aligned properly and tightened the screw, and guess what, right when I turned it on, it flew off too! Lucky that I was sitting down and the trimmer head flew off and landed in my lap. Attempting to attach the foil shaver trimmer attachment again. aligned properly and screw tightened, it flew off again and landed in my lap!Something is seriously wrong with this design - wouldn't they have done QA testing on a prototype before manufacturing these units in high volume? It surely would have shown up, unless they made the prototype extremely high quality, to please the "higher ups" with their product idea, and then to make sure the costs stayed low, perhaps the quality of the manufactured units were lowered as well, and we end up with sub-par products from a well known brand that has a reputation for quality, but this product idea was a BIG MISTAKE!Don't do what I did - if you do order, make sure you open it right away and test it out, even if it's to test it out without anything to cut, but make sure you don't have any defects as described above. If you have hair to trim too, even better to test it out on that - just make sure the trimming attachment is aligned properly with the piece that fits in the slot to make the trimmer move back and forth, and tighten the screw fairly tight to ensure it's placement is assured - the turn it on, use all three attachments to test, and try to cut some hair too, if possible, just to be sure.My advice, try something else - as I cannot believe I paid $150 for this product and I am so disappointed. I know it's already past the return date to Amazon, but it's has a 5 year warranty I believe, and I only had it for about 3 months, but sadly, I wish i would have tried it out right when I received it in May, as I could have returned it to Amazon.Wahl wants you to mail it in, at your cost, to their service center for warranty repairs - but due to the flawed design of this product, I do not have any confidence that this will last long, even if they give me high quality trimming heads - oh well, lesson learned.I just purchased a cheap $20 T-Skeleton trimmer from Amazon and received it today - at least if it breaks, it's not as big of a loss as the Wahl. I chalk it up to a lesson learned. Expensive and name brand is not always the best product.

A solid multi-purpose personal grooming tool at a disappointing price point
The Wahl skeleton trimmer is priced higher than expected, but is a solid, weighty multi-purpose hair grooming tool. At a lower price, I might recommend it, but at the current price of around $150, I'd be very hard-pressed to justify this multi-trimmer device.Let's start with what's included: a carry-case containing the tool itself, multiple blade guard attachments (everything you need), a small brush, an oil container, a charging cable (terminating in USB-A, more on that later) and the 3 different attachments: foil shaver, hair trimmer, nose hair trimmer. The case is well-put together although the foam where the tool sits looks haphazardly glued together. Blade guards are separated out into a plastic baggie to keep things organized. Now let's talk about the tool itself, and its individual attachments. The tool: It feels good in the hand, weight is ideal and distributed nicely. It certainly feels like a premium product, though I suppose only time will prove that ultimately. These days its very.. interesting.. to see such a device shipped without a full charging mechanism. I suppose it's a safe assumption that everyone has a USB charger, but I wish that there was at least an acknowledgement or notice of why there was no USB brick included. From a brand like Wahl, I expected a bit more on that front.Trimmer/clipper attachment: I can't help but think that it doesn't cut lines as cleanly as I would expect. As a point of comparison, I also own a cheap 'Renpho' brand trimmer which came in at a whipping $30, and that one cuts cleaner lines than this Wahl trimmer. Somehow I find myself going back over the same lines again and again (irritating the skin, mind you) so that I can get cleaner lines. Not a huge problem if you're going to finish up the lines with a straight razor, as I do, but still a touch disappointing. When using it with blade guards to trim down beard hair, etc, however, I'm 100% satisfied.Nose hair trimmer attachment: What can I say, it just works. It's a simple mechanism really.Foil shaver: Here's the attachment I find to be the least useful maybe? It's about an inch and a half wide for starters, so that limits its usefulness right off the bat. It is a dual-foil shaver, so that helps somewhat. But I'd much rather use my $70 Andis foil shaver for a better shave quality. I guess it's a nice-to-have attachment thrown in at a fairly cheap price.Overall: Ultimately it's a nice product, but again, I'm not sure I can justify the price point when I can find 3 different tools that do the same things that this tool does, better and for a cheaper price. Would I recommend this at this price? No, I cannot.

Get a beard and then get this trimmer
Hands down the best trimmer I have ever used. Sharp and stylish and its cordless feature keeps it on the ready wet or dry.

Do it. Invest in a great trimmer.
I love this beautiful little guy. Its durable, does everything it says it does, and DOES IT WELL. No pulling, great battery, super precise, even the case it comes in is great. I can't, for the life of me, find one flaw with it.
