Didn’t know if this would work… it does!!
THIS FITS 1 Liter GLASS 1883 BOTTLES!I was skeptical based on other reviews if this pump would fit or not, and even more skeptical when I saw the pump itself (the top is HUGE and my past barista experience equates large pumps with SAUCE bottles and not SYRUP bottles). But it does fit and it works great! It does not screw on to the top - it just “plunges” into and around the top of the bottle.Wish it was a little cheaper but, I have a pump that fits and works so I’m overall happy :)

For GLASS only. Rinse with very hot water occasionally
First, this pump is only for the GLASS bottles. Second, you should expect to have to rinse all bottle pumps with hot water every once in a while because sugar naturally crystallizes when it dries. Third, plastic pumps such as these should not be reused more than two or three times as they can harbor bacteria in the soft material. That being said, this pump is perfectly adequate and fits the GLASS 1883 bottles perfectly. It is not designed to twist shut tightly. It simply slides into the bottle and creates a snug seal like a stopper. Last, I will advise that the proper way to install a syrup pump into a brand new syrup bottle is to depress the pump and while holding it down, slide it into the bottle while slowly releasing the pump to displace the syrup into the pump rather than out of the bottle.

A must
Makes dispensing syrup easy and mess free. Pump will stick after a while but easy to clean with soap and water

Defective, pump does not reach the bottom of the bottle.
The 1883 Routin Syrup Pump is not long enough to go the bottom of a 1883 Routin Syrup. The pump is not worth buying since it sits about 2” off the bottom of the syrup bottle.

Fits GLASS bottle
As said from the other reviews, this pump "fits" the glass bottle pretty well. Note: it won't thread on like traditional twist caps and pumps. Instead you have to push it into the bottle until it clicks/snaps into place which is weird. Force it down if you must but this is the only way to have a good fit and seal.So far this is the only pump that I know of that'll fit 1883 glass bottles since most other pumps fit onto their bottles based on threaded screw tops. One star off just for pricing but 1883 is hard to buy anyways...

I have 2 and love them
I first got 1 flavor of 1883 and 1 pump. It was the glass bottle and the pump went on perfectly.I now have 3 flavors, 1 does not have a pump. I highly recommend the pump, it really makes it easier to regulate how much you're using.I will most likely be buying a third one for the third bottle.

Barista Vibes with a Side of Stickiness
The 1883 Routin Syrup Pump adds a touch of sleek sophistication to your kitchen counter, making you feel like a pro barista every time you use it. It works effectively, dispensing syrup smoothly—when it's used regularly. However, if it sits idle for a day or more, be prepared for a sticky situation; the syrup tends to get clogged, requiring a hot water rinse to clear it up. Also, it can get a bit messy. I've found keeping a paper towel under the bottle is a must to catch any drips. Overall, it’s a solid three stars for bringing style and functionality, with a few manageable quirks.
