If you prefer wired headphones but dont have a aux port for your phone this is a great item.
Pros:- has stereo sound- great range and connectivity- usb c charge- super easy to set up Cons:- really the only thing that bothers me is the battery life. On a full charge it'll last almost 5 hours but that might be because of how high the volume is when I use it. Plan to buy a second one so I can trade it out between breaks at work.

Amazing sound and BT range - no need to pay more
This is a super simple, great sounding Bluetooth headphone DAC. It's also tiny and very lightweight. I don't think the project pictures really convey how small this thing is. Just clip it to your pocket or jacket and forget about it.It has really good battery life. I can definitely go a full day of listening without needing to charge. And the Bluetooth range is incredible. I can go all the way across from my house and even a little outside and still keep the connection. That's pretty unheard for BT headphones. I also have the fiio btr5, and that thing starts losing signal one room over. For ease of use, it connects very quickly and reliably. Unfortunately it only connects to one device at a time, so if I switch between my phone and computer, I need to turn it off and re-enter pairing mode while telling your new device to connect to it. The controls are super intuitive and can be adjusted just by feel. I tried out the app, and it's straightforward enough, but I really don't want to be bothered with equalizers and such.Luckily it sounds just great without any tinkering. Compared to my brt5, I may give a slight sound quality edge to the fiio, but then again, they may be equal. When I listen to them one after the other, I can't place any real difference in the sound. It definitely doesn't seem to have any audible noise or add any compression. Bass, treble, imaging, etc are all exactly as my headphones sound through a hard wired connection. If I did an official blind test against the btr5, I doubt I could pick which is which.I have Phillips x2s, koss kph40, and koss ksc75. I can listen to any of these headphones for hours though this device; it's almost addictive to have such good sound so mobile. The one potential problem is that it has a combined DAC/amp chip instead of an additional analog amp circuit after the DAC. This means if you have very high impedance headphones or a very low volume source, it may have issues driving them loud enough. It has plenty of volume to spare through my phone or computer with all of my headphones though.Get this if you want high quality, mobile sound through your wired headphones. At this price the only reason to go more expensive is if you have difficult to drive headphones or need need to devices connected at once. Going for a more expensive unit probably won't make an improvement in sound quality, but you may very likely sacrifice BT range and ease of use.

Does not work well for phone calls, otherwise it would be awesome
I use dongles for music, podcasts and phone calls so I don't need to be connected to my phone and my brain is not radiated by bluetooth. At first I thought this was awesome, great sound, good battery, usb-c, runs while charging, easy setup ...Then people on the other end complain about a buzzing sound. If I fiddle with the rca plug it sometimes goes away. Otherwise too annoying to use. Relegated to backup only

Low battery life but cool tech
Cool product, it's smaller than my thumb 👍 only issue I have is the battery life is only a few hours. It's charges quickly but my other amp (which is smaller than a wallet but definitely bigger than a finger) lasts for 12 hrs - also you can only pair one device at a time and need to clear the cache of you use a different smart device

May as well just flush a fifty down the toilet
I am loving the fact that they just released this product, yet the application that is required to do anything but the most basic of uses like linking it to your phone, does not work on Android at all. The QR code included in the package doesn't even take you to the app, however once I was able to find it on a Android 13 flagship device I discovered it was incompatible. From there I checked an Android 12 device, incompatible. On Android 11, you guessed it incompatible. According Amazon this was first available just a few weeks ago, yet it is nothing more than a Bluetooth to 3.5 adapter since you cannot use the application. I tried HiBy music app Just to see if maybe they switched everything to that, not only do they not switch everything to that that app is also enough to make most people want to throw their phones across the room even if they don't have a pre-existing rage problem.I am beyond frustrated that I am now going to be stuck waiting for several weeks before I can apply that $50 to the device I was originally going to get and should have in the first place, the FiiO BTR13.If you were looking for a high quality, reasonably priced DAC that will support not only Bluetooth connection to source, but also Bluetooth to all of those fancy expensive Bluetooth headphones laying around Don't touch this thing, immediately click away and go find the FiiO BTR13. It's a bit more but The amount of excitement I had leading up to finally getting to turn this thing on, followed by the crushing disappointment is not the feeling I would wish upon anyone.

Great for the price
This is not an “audiophile” device. It’s also a cheaper device. So when I say this is a great bluetooth dac amp, I’m making this statement based on the fact that it performs so well for how much it costs. The expansive bluetooth codec support means you’re likely going to be limited by your other device on bluetooth sound quality, be it your computer, your phone, etc. Apple’s AAC bluetooth codec is available, and it sounds great.I’m using Beyerdynamic headphones a lot and like to sometimes step away from my computer. I can hear the difference between a bad codec and a good codec. I can hear the difference between a bad DAC and a good DAC. I struggle to hear the difference between using this DAC versus plugging my headphones directly into my macbook. This is a big deal to me. With my old cheap bluetooth dac, I would only use it when I wanted to step away but keep my headphones going. With this dac, I leave my headphones plugged into it at all times, and when I’m at my computer, I just plug it into power to keep the battery topped up.I haven’t managed to drain the battery fully so I can’t speak to the battery run time outside of it easily covering my needs. For the price, especially with the performance, this is 100% a recommend.
