Excellent quality and haven't faded in the Florida sun!

Florida pools get hot and we need shade. This little sail fills the bill! I didn't want an enclosed pool. I really like it and the color matched my pool perfectly. But the color is less important to me. This offers UV protection, helps cool the pool when we have days that are in the high 90s and warm nights, and offers shade for late afternoon swims. I like the reinforced corners and o-rings for hanging and it is very lightweight. Takes about five minutes to take down or rehang in the event of a storm or hurricane. Of course we will take it down when swimming season is over, but it is going right back up next spring. It looks like it will take a beating in the Florida sun, but we'll see! Highly recommend.

The Sun Shade Sail itself was very good - well made and I think an excellent value. The only reason I am giving this a 4 star has to do with the hardware package I had also purchased with this. The hardware - specifically the steel cables - failed within less than a week of installing. Based on that experience I would suggest using chains instead of the steel cables that come in the hardware package.

We take them down in the winter, but we are on our 4th year of putting these up over our pool for the summer and they let light through but really block the heat and UV. We dont use harsh chemical ladden sunscreen on our kids bodies anymore thanks to these shades! Durable and bright! Love them!!!

we loved this, after getting some fasteners to put it up, it was great, however we had it attached to posts that were in cemented pots and apparently those aren't heavy enough to keep upright when the wind blows. We had no other way to attach it to our house somehow with the size/shape of the one we purchased. Great product, but make sure what you're attaching it to is strong enough to hold it during wind! only took 3 minutes of having it up to figure that out...

Easy to install

I got this shade sail to replace another one. I have it over my salt water pool. The first one lasted 3 years. I keep it up most of the summer unless I know there is strong winds or storms in the weather forecast. I have it up with clips so that it is easy to take down. I put it away during the winter months when the pool is not in use. It is nice to have the shade in the heat of the summer. It was well worth the cost for three years of use.

We were really excited to order two different sails for our pool. With the delay in shipping right now, it took a couple weeks to get them, so we were extra disappointed when they didnt work right. The stated size we received was (more or less) the size we received UN-Stretched. The description didn't mention pre vs post stretch dimension and I am also not sure if that value changes because these are bigger sails, but the 24' sail was to be installed in between posts that were 26'-6" apart. The website shows each corner dimension plus 12-18" per corner for tightening so these should've been perfect. Once we hung them however, there was not enough distance to properly stretch these in that span - it was still too loose. Also - the hardware kit from the Colourtree is lighter weight than I was expecting, but basically they recommend (for a triangle) - one fixed point with snap link and two turnbuckle links. I don't know that this unit would ever really stretch right unless all 3 sides have turnbuckles, but again - that could just be because this sail is quite large. We have returned this unit, but have re-ordered a smaller size.
