Excellent Power supply
Purchased to upgrade my Fosi 48 volt 5 amp power supply. Based on price and upgraded design this 10amp power supply brings out more power, dynamics, clarity. No noticeable hum or noise! Live in an area with a lot of cell towers and high power line. Absolutely no problems. For me it’s a great buy and does exactly what Fosi said theirs would do! Can not compare the to different power supplies as I didn’t have two Fosi power supplies. Fosi states that it up rated power supplies can increase power safely as the chip can handle 53 volts 12 amperage with and increase in power with increased need for ventilation. Yes, my amps run hotter so placement should be watched.A small inexpensive computer fan has been used on some of the reviewers will good results. I love the Fosi products. If you want to really hear and feel the increased power do the upgrade. You I’ll need two power supplies for the Fosi V3 Monoblock amplifiers. The manufacturer uses the same chip TI 3355 using the same voltage and amperage as well as adapter in their amplifiers.

Great match for Fosi audio
Powers a Fosi 2.1 Bluetooth amp.Clean and quiet, does run pretty warm when pulling a sustained 8 amps. Can't think of any issues that would put me off of purchasing another as needed.

nice unit. I would buy again.
work very well. quality build

Works as advertised.
I bought this for an amplifier which came with a power supply but the maker stated that the amp would not put out its full potential watts unless you bought this larger power supply. I get it but when I use the larger power supply I can't tell any difference at preset volumes. I probably need to use a more scientific approach but I'm not that motivated.

GOT A USED NON WORKING UNIT
Why do t you guys test before sending out. Im pretty sure I was sent a used one because the wire wasn't rolled up with a tie on it. But I paid a lot of money for this piece of junk that I had to throw out cause it don't work. Buyer beware

A dream, a wish...an annoying buzzing sound.
On paper, this is an amazing deal. Unfortunately, it makes a buzzing sound at high volumes over my fosi V3, similar to a gnat. It's not super loud, but if you're listening for a black background, you can hear it, and it's a deal breaker. I had the same problem with another 48v10a gan psu, but not with a 48v10a non-gan psu, and not with a 48v5a gan psu. If I stick with the V3, between 48v10a non-gan and 48v5a gan, I'm going with the latter.

High Quality
Very high quality, 10amp makes a big difference over the 5 amp version for bookshelf speakers. More Power!

makes a whooshing sound
Connected to the Aiyima V70 as an upgrade. The amplifier is connected with balanced inputs, however when I switched the original power supply with this one, suddenly the completely silent background was replaced with a whooshing sound. After some experimentation, I found that there is a significant ground current that is generated in the ground wire, and that creates a ground loop with the rest of the system, injecting this high frequency noise in a way that is impossible for the balanced inputs to cancel out.I am a practicing electrical engineer, and ground currents from switching power supplies are nothing new (I use a 500W Mean Well power supply for a project at work, and it puts 5mA into the ground wire !) but this bothers me for an audio application, especially when the original brick is so well done.I also noticed that if I lift the ground, the noise is completely gone, but I am not willing to have a powerful unit like this one floating without a solid ground. I measure 260mV rms on the ground of the DC connector with the scope connected to the same AC circuit and the same ground. That is Ok for safety, but not OK for audio.Has anyone else noticed this problem ? if I return it, will I get another unit that has the same issue ?I haven't returned it yet, but I am thinking about it.Update: seller reached out and offered a refund. I have not accepted it yet, since I wanted to try to fix the problem myself. I bought a 6 inch 15A extension cord and spliced in 2 6A / 1000V diodes back to back into the ground line. These diodes allow 0.6V before they start conducting, so under normal conditions they are off and the unit is floating. If any fault happens, then they start conducting and drain the current away.Works like a charm !!! the noise is gone. I added 1 star to my review because of the refund offer.
