Worth the extra money it will last longer than your lifetime.
We use this outside the front door. It is a classy old fashioned cast foot wipe , which we were looking for. The mat or rubber type use to hold water and stay damp underneath. This would allow bugs to set up homes(not nice).This cast iron one looks good stays put in windy weather and allows the rain to run out and dry out ( very good)

Heavy and not chewable by our 6 large dogs.
Nice, it has lasted as it is cast iron, good quality with rubber feet, the dogs (St Bernard, Bull Mastiffs and German Shepard's do not touch it. unlike the previous 100 door mats!)

Terrible
Waste of money. I have had this item since end of July and it is already broken. I chose to buy this item thinking it would be a long term solution. I am also finding it very difficult to find an option to contact suppliers.

I Removed the six rubber supports underneath to help the balance or you risk the small cast iron pattern snapping

One stars, as you can't give no stars, I purchased this for my front door step, first time it was stood on it broke, absolute rubbish, you would think that as it was made from Cast Iron it would be strong I was wrong,sent it back, thanks to Amazon for the full refund.

Schnelle Lieferung und sichere Verpackung. Das Teil ist robust und stabil, von „Herausbrechen“ oder ähnlichen Problemen kann ich nichts berichten. Allerdings muss man etwas aufpassen: wenn man genau auf die Kante tritt, ist der Abtreter durch seine Erhöhung etwas kippelig (steht auf Füßchen). Ein schönes Teil, das hält, was es verspricht.
