New Globes are not as thick as they were many years ago,but are clear,and they fit the no. 50 dietz/comet like a glove. The new globes are not cast with the word Dietz into the glass like they used to be so they are not a perfect replacement but they do have it written on them.

Got this for an old lamp of my Granddad's that was hanging on a nail in his shed, it was really neat to bring something back to life that he probably bought and used when he was my age. It fits like a glove and looks great all lit up.

Replacement globe for gas street light. Worked well.
