Thank you for your question. This tool will not work with coax. This tool's die was specifically designed for heat shrink connectors.

Q: how long are the handles? the ones I have now take 2 hands to crimp the stay con terminals that we use.

Crimping handles are 6 inches long. You will be able to crimp 22-10 AWG terminals with one hand.

Thank you for your question. Wirefy Crimping Tool for heat shrink connectors was designed specifically for heat shrink crimp terminals. It will not work in place of molex crimper part# 638190900, which was designed for Mini-Fit Jr. Crimp Terminals.

Q: Will this crimp 8 awg

The five piece set which I have has a die for 10/8 awg wire. The die that comes with the one piece set only goes down to 12/10 but it does have height adjustments and it's a very heavy duty crimper. I wouldn't be surprised if you could get it to do 8 awg. I love this tool actually. It does an excellent job. Maybe they sell the dies separately somewhere if you needed one? I don't know.
